The other night I had to call AMA to have my vehicle winched out of my driveway (it was stuck in soft snow, and extremely close to my neighbours fence). Ralph with Eastern Mechanics was the individual that was assigned to me, and he was nothing but incredible. He could tell I was super anxious and worried about damaging my vehicle and/or the fence. He reassured me and explained each step he was taking to get my vehicle out safely. After he pulled it out as much as possible, he waited for me to completely back out to make sure I didn’t get myself stuck again. It was a stressful situation but Ralph did an amazing job and was super patient with me despite him being super busy that night! I high recommend EM, thank you again Ralph :)

Ymm towing recommended them when they were busy. Eastern Mechanics were fast and reasonably priced- $100 cheaper and 45 minutes quicker than what I was quoted by another company.

Went into this mickey mouse outfit with a engine code on a 2018 chevy, they charged me $1500.00 and had it for a week. They replaced an injector and harness and when this didn't fix the issue they wanted to replace the ECM module for $5000.00. Had my truck towed out of this place with the same engine code. Towed to a different shop, they found a broken wire and was fixed in an hourIf I could give a 0" rating I would. DO NOT GO HERE. I would not go back even for an oil change. Find somewhere were the mechanics have maybe gone to school for some kind of training"

Absolutely horrendous to deal with! The owner is so unprofessional and rude. I have never been spoken to the way he spoke to me on the phone regarding a small issue. I would steer clear of these people, absolutely terrible to deal with

The cops and this mechanic shop have a very good Scheme/Scamsince / half of mcmurray police force is from out east$250 to drive to get the car$250 to bring it back$ 250 for the tow50$ a day in there lot+ ++they are closed on weekends ....... saturday and sundaywhat a jokepure robbery to your faceevery time they tow your car its minimum $900how do you get away with 50$ lot fees a day!!!!!!!!! never seen that anywhere else in CANADAyou can tow my car anytime but you are closed on saturday and sunday for ppl who want to get there cars out of your impound lot!!!!!!!!!!!!!can you be any more obvious with your BIG SCAM

On June 8th they towed my truck while it was in park!! The driver gave me a b.s story about all of his experience and thats how its done. After talking to other reputable towing companies in town I found out how bad that is!!!So the driver shows up and says because my steering would not turn he has to tow it in park. Even tho the vehicle still drove forwards and backwards and could have bin shifted into neutral. He proceeds to tow the vehicle in park until the front wheels are on the trailer. Then he goes into the cab and puts the vehicle into an override feature and TURNS THE WHEELS.I had a bad feeling the whole time while watching but I figured I should be able to trust a driver to do his job. I decided to do some research. After calling different tow companies I have bin told the vehicle NEEDS TO BE NEUTRAL to avoid damaging the vehicle. My vehicle could have bin loading easily by turning the wheels and putting the vehicle in neutral.DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.Also I called at 8am when they open for an early morning tow. They did not tell me they were busy and did not show up for three hours. It was a one hour drive.Trust the poor reviews left for this company. It will save you the cost in repairs after they tow your vehicle. Which I am now having to do. But what comes around goes around.I hope you enjoy the detailed post Eastern Mechanics. Ordered a block heater from the dealership for my vehicle, shop didn't know how to install it, when they figured it out and informed me they have to remove alot of the engine and I declined. Was charged $200 for them to figure out how to do the job. Absolute worst would not recommend to anybody what a rip off.
