Richard was efficient and extremely clean. Having had a few problems with our open fire who took time to explain what the problem could be and how to over come them. He also left us a CO monitor which we didn’t have.Great service thanks Richard

A really good service from this business. I received text confirmation on the day and Richard also phoned me to say he was on his way. He was friendly and professional, explaining what he was going to do and why. He took care in the house and left it as he found it with no mess. Richard was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Excellent job done on the fireplace, left it extremely clean inside and out.

Richard was great. He talked me through the process of the chimney sweep, as it was the first time we’d had it done since moving in, and then got straight on with the job. He was very careful with mess and left the fireplace immaculate after he had finished. A top job. Richard even had time to engage with our young boys and was very accommodating when they were bombarding him with questions about his job. We will definitely be using him again next year.

Of the chimney sweeps we’ve used over the years, RJL Chimneys is by far the best. All starts with a reminder email that the chimney is due to be swept. The booking process is swift and easy and there was also an automated message the day before Richard arrived to remind you that he was coming. This year we had a log burner for him to deal with but this proved to be no problem. It was inspected and cleaned along with the chimney being swept. It looked as good as new by the time he’d finished. With previous sweeps we have smothered our room and furniture with dust sheets but we know we don’t have to bother with Richard, the room was spotless. Another nice thing, we feel easy having him in the house. When finished a certificate and accompanying photos of the cleaning arrive within the hour, along with the invoice. I would have a no hesitation in recommending RJL Chimneys to family and friends.
