Heritage Trail - West bank trail

Super fun place to hike. It's very steep and icy at spots during the winter, so caution is advised. Fantastic vantage points of the creek and multiple bridges along the hike. Expect to be taking pictures. The trail can be a little challenging because of steep inclines/declines but that makes it a great place to visit, if you're trying to get in shape. The trail is connected to the east bank, so a hike can be easily extended through connecting trails. Within the Lions Valley Park, the trail loops between 5-12 km distance, respectively, but if you prefer longer distance hikes, it easily connected to trails like Indian Ridge Trail and others, therefore making it to a 25 km hike.This trail is fairly quiet, considering how close it is to the residential area and traffic. Parking is available near most entrances to the trails. Your dog will love this place!
