King's Point Pottery Gallery and Gifts

If this is the only souvenir/craft/pottery store you’ll be visiting then it’s fine. Actually drove here just to visit this shop. Nice selection and wonderfully presented. However, having travelled other parts of Newfoundland (St. John’s, Trinity, Bonavista, Twilingate, Gros Morne), for a lot of the same items, there is definitely a price premium between 20-40% at King’s Point Pottery. I’m a huge shopper and supporter of hand made arts but couldn’t bring myself to purchase.

A great find and well worth the travel from the TransCanada. Linda and David are so helpful and know about homemade crafts from all over Newfoundland and Canada. This store is right across the street from the Jon Lien whale exhibit. I hope I get a chance to return and hike the trails. Thank you.

I love going here to see what new items they have in stock. I always pick up a few unique gifts here plus a few things for myself.

We stoped in today. What a beautiful shop. There are lots of art pieces, both 3-D and 2-D as well as jewellery and keepsakes. I could have spent hours. Bravo to the owners for a wonderful collection. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly.

It’s one of my all time favourite places to visit anywhere, in Newfoundland and beyond.The pottery was always a large attraction, long before Kings Point really discovered itself as a hot tourism destination.Growing up just up the street from the shop was a real treat. A visit there was something special, all the colourful, unique, and wonderful items up for a sale was real exciting for anyone residing in our small little town.It was so amazing to have world-class artisans crafting pottery right in our back yard.Over the years the pottery really helped put Kings Point on the map. The work they did for tourism in the area was nothing short of spectacular.I would be remiss if I didn’t acknowledge them for being a big inspiration on my own journey to become a tourism professional.I look forward to my visits there, David, Linda, Kaitlyn, and Sandy are eager to greet you and engage in conversation.People may come for the arts and crafts but they’ll leave with a special place in their hearts for the wonderful people who run the place.If you haven’t checked out the Kings Point Pottery, be sure swing by on your next trip to Scenic Green Bay.Smiling faces are awaiting your arrival

Had the amazing experience getting to travel to Newfoundland to visit an old friend in Springdale and she took me all around the area stopping here at along the way. Found this neat magnetic block and I really wish I had bought a second one. I use it to stack magnetic coins at work for entertainment and it's really proven to be a great conversation starter, especially when I tell them how unique and far away it came from!

Such a quaint, hidden gem. So many unique professional crafts. The salesperson was pleasant and attentive. Definitely recommend.
