Rosewood On The Cove

Beautiful spot. Just a roll down the hill from the Lobster Supper and Dance Hall @ the Shore Club and only a short stent to the gorgeous beach! The cottage we rented was stunning and the owners were quite accommodating. I highly recommend staying here!

My husband and I had an amazing stay at Rosewood Cottages. We were in Jasmine, and the view from the front porch was mesmerizing. The cottage is beautifully appointed and there are so many amenities in the immediate vicinity to take advantage of. As Halifax residents, we appreciated the short distance from home to experience such tranquility. Will be booking again for sure.

We stayed in the Honeysuckle cottage which is renovated with two bedrooms and a pullout couch. The cottage had a full renovated kitchen, comfortable beds and stunning view. The pool was great to keep the kids busy during the day, with the Shore Club and Tuna Blue a very close walk for meals out. If you need to do laundry, they have a coin operated machine near the pool (two $1 coins and two 0.25 cent coins are needed for each the washer and dryer). We had a very comfortable and lovely stay. We hope to come back soon!

The cottage was clean, comfortable, well supplied and nicely decorated. The location is beautiful. We especially enjoyed swimming in the heated pool and watching the sunset down by the dock. It's close to many lovely beaches and only 45 min. from Halifax, Lunenberg & Peggy's Cove.

The cottage we rented was a surprise - we had expected a nice place based on the pictures but it was even better than we expected. The contact person was helpful and accommodating. The cottage itself was clean, very well equipped and newer. The grounds were beautiful and had many extras such as a swimming pool, laundry facilities, restuarants very close and a beyond beautiful dock to sit and have your glass of wine or cup of tea. The location was amazing with a lobster supper, a beach and lovely views all within easy walking distance. The location is also a short drive to Mahone Bay, Chester, Halifax and Queensland beach. Would recommend to family and friends and plan to return.

What an amazing week we had at Rosewood on the Cove!! Hyacinth Cottage exceeded our expectations! It was clean, comfortable and gave us lots of space to rest and relax. We loved how close everything was to the cottage - Hubbard's Beach a 10 minute walk, Hubbard's Cove Rentals for kayaking a 5 minute drive and lots of shops and restaurants just minutes away! A perfect location for a family vacation!

Rosewood is a little piece of paradise nestled in Hubbards Cove, Nova Scotia. Close to the city of Halifax it's a central hub on the South Shore to take you on day trips to further down the shore, the Annapolis Valley or up towards the Eastern Shore.

We stayed here for a nearby wedding and found the cabin perfectly suited our needs. Comfortable, enough places for everyone to sleep, and easy to get to.

Vacationed here with family. We stayed in Lilac and Hyacinth.Rosewood cottage is the perfect getaway for a family. The cottages are very comfortable, clean and well cared for. We grilled out on the patio - the kitchen has everything you need. The view is very nice. Cathy was very responsive and helpful; I appreciate that she arranged a pack and play for my baby. I am so pleased with our trip here, much better than a stuffy hotel!! Thank you for the wonderful accommodations.

Beautiful cottages, however, I booked a cottage for me and my husband to be for our wedding night, and days leading up to as well about a year in advance. There were at least 3 other cottages booked by guests from my wedding. Due to the strict Atlantic Bubble Covid restrictions in Nova Scotia (we live in BC), we were forced to postpone our wedding. Very disappointing that myself nor my guests were unable to money back. They were not cheap, and we have 6 months notice. Very disheartening.
