On such a beautiful day in the Beaches just finished breakfast and walked into foodland to purchase a bouquet of flowers, only to be racially profile by the cashier who started to follow us around the store. Unbelievable, of course we left as the Roses were old and the sunflowers were on their last legs dried up. It almost ruined a perfect afternoon. How sad is this in Toronto a very diverse and multi cultural city this type of behavior is still happening.

Yes, everything is getting more expensive. But at least Foodland has real cashiers. I despise shopping at places with self checkouts.

This is a very nice store with fast and friendly service. They have in-store Bakery and Kitchen for all the fresh meals and bread you can have. Very good quality steaks, too.

Had a bad experience with the store manager. For a neighbourhood store, he has truly terrible customer service skills. There was no posted price for a plant (only for a larger 4 pot of different type ) and he wouldn't honour the price I was charged last week for the very same plants. He insisted on charging me the higher price attached to the other plants. That was certainly a bit irritating but the main reason I am writing this review is because of his attitude and behaviour - he was extremy rude and dismissive when I raised it with him. I used to shop at this store regularly - but will go elsewhere. If they are going to charge more than other stores in the area then at least treat customers with respect!"

I love this little place! The first time I shopped here I was greeted by a gentleman in the cheese section. He was so kind asked me how my day was and if I needed help searching for anything... I let him know I was Vegan and looking to see if they could bring in certain items that would benefit me. He immediately said that shouldn't be a problem and got me the man in charge of the ordering. Absolutely wonderful customer service like the good old days! Thank you guys for being so great!Like

The prepared food/hot table is excellent. I got tilapia with vegetables and it was restaurant quality. Highly recommend!

They pack alot of products in a small space. But because of this they do put product up high. I've had to get tall customers or if around , staff to get the product from the high shelves. I like that they always have lactose free milk and whipping cream fully stocked.
