Manual Medicine

In March 2022 I had an accident while playing ball and tore my quad. I didn't recieve any emergency care other then xrays amd was sent on my way.After visiting my family Dr and rheumatologist I was booked for an MRI in October. The MRI confirmed there was no damage to the knee joint and I reached out to my friend Michelle who is a Massage Therapist and manual medicine and she recommended I see their physiotherapist Jessica.Before my injury I resistance trained 3 to 5 days a week and played softball way more then most people should. As the season went on in 2022 I knew my leg wasn't getting better, so after the MRI and the season ended we got to work on getting back to normal.When I started with Jessica I couldn't bend my knee past 90⁰. I had problems walking up and down stairs, doing daily chores and wasn't capable of working out at all.Within a very short time of seeing Jessica and doing my exercises everyday I was quickly able to bend my leg to full range of motion. They made it super easy to access my exercises. They gave me a link to access an app, I just had to log in and go!If you're in need of any physio, chiro or massage I highly recommend you reach out to Kristy and see one of the amazing staff! I also see Kayla for chiropractic care amd Michelle for Massage.In just 3 months I was back to more then normal range of motion and discharged from Jessica's care.Now my daughter, an eleven year old hockey star is seeing Jessica for her help and I can't wait for her to have amazing results as well!!

I receive excellent treatment at this clinic. I have only had appointments with Brock for massage, but he is very skilled at his work. I always feel better after a treatment. The front staff is always polite, professional, and knowledgeable. I have heard only good things about the other physical health care professionals at this location from people who I know that have gone here.

Manual Medicine is an awesome clinic! They make you feel just like family … Kristy greets you with a warm welcome and always makes you feel like you’re home. She takes the stress out of any complicated insurance forms with her knowledge and skill around the billing process.The practitioners are all very welcoming as well. They explained my treatment in detail to be sure I had a full understanding of the process and answered all my questions. I would definitely recommend Manual Medicine to my friends and family!

I was referred to Manual Med by an employee, as I was looking for a private physio. clinic.As a business owner for over 35 years here in town, I love to see other new businesses start up and bring more services to town. The first thing I noticed, was from the moment I opened the door, I was greeted by name by the assistant; every time, every appointment, there's nothing like being welcomed that way!Jessica explained in detail, the problems I was dealing with in my recovery and I learned how to use a cane PROPERLY to assist in recovery. 6 weeks later and the new knee is better than the other!Everyone at the clinic is very professional, helpful, and I am so glad we now have this new service available in Dunnville.In closing, Jessica mentioned her main goal was to help people get back to where they were before an injury, if at all possible; that to me said a lot about the people at Manual Medicine.Thanks, Roger Egger

My first visit to Manual Medicine was spectacular. From the friendly staff greeting you as soon as you walk in, to the education and understanding during the appointment. Highly would recommend.

I can’t say enough about the care and treatment I received at Manual Medicine after the reconstructive surgery I had on my hand. Jessica took the time to explain everything to me and show me illustrations on the computer of just what the surgery consisted of and the treatment involved to get my mobility and strength back in my thumb. She was hands on and very thorough with the treatments and you can tell she loves what she does to help people. !I highly recommend Jessica! Esther was also very helpful with the weights and exercises, taking the time to show me the proper technique and making sure I was doing them properly. And first to greet me when I arrived was Kristy! She was always so friendly and answered any questions I had with a smile on her face! So glad to have Manual Medicine and their amazing staff right here in Dunnville!!

I have done physo over the years some good some bad. But from walking through the front door it was spotless. Staff from Kristie,Jessica, Ester and Ruth are the most knowledgeable and explained every detail honestly. I really appreciate what they have done

After an MRI on my ankle, I was sent to a specialist about a concern. He recommended a brace for $3500 after a 3 minute consultation, but wouldn't explain what it would do. I thought that sounded more like a scam than a solution.I had a family member recommend Manual Medicine so I tried that instead. Jessica met with me for an hour in my first meeting and explained what was going on with my leg and arthritis. My ankle was effecting my hip and back. 4 months later with steady 1/2 hour weekly sessions accommodated to my schedule, I am walking better than I have in years, with no hip and back pain anymore.The staff is pleasant and easy to talk to. No complaints whatsoever. If you have any pain, walk funny at all (compare your footprints with others when you walk in snow), or aren't as flexible in joints as you used to be, give them a call. You will not regret it.

Jessica and Esther were amazing to work with! I had issues that stemmed from my lower back and hips which also affected my knees. Jessica, PT was able to assess my problem quickly and develop a care plan that helped me achieve immediate results. Jessica is very knowledgeable, competent and it is evident she takes pride in her work and in developing relationships with her clients. Esther, PT Assistant was wonderful in making minor adaptations and recommendations to the exercises. Both Jessica and Esther are good listeners and were able to adapt the program so it met my needs. I also appreciated the flexibility in accommodating my schedule. I would highly recommend the PT services at Manual Medicine!When I had a relapse with my hip / back in April 2023, I contacted Manual Medicine to see if they could fit me into their schedule. Kristy was wonderful in getting me in quickly for both a massage treatment and physio re-assessment. I was very grateful as my condition was impeding my daily activities and routines. Jessica (PT) and Melissa (RMT) were fantastic providing me with 1:1 hands-on treatment that helped immediately to release some of the pain and discomfort I was having. That in combination with the exercises, Jessica provided helped me to get back on my feet doing all of the things I love to do within a month’s time. The Manual Medicine Team has a wealth of expertise and is professional, responsive and knowledgeable taking the time to get to know their patients and providing them with the individual attention and care they require. I would highly recommend Manual Medicine for treatment services.

I had a very good experience with my care team.I had shoulder and lower back pain.Happy to say with physio therapy that my shoulder pain has subsided and my muscles are much stronger…thank you Jessica and Esther!!! I’m continuing services with Chiropractic and massage.Kayla and Ruth are doing wonders for my back.This place is amazing….they give you what you need to keep mobile.They are caring and compassionate about the people they are caring for…and Kristi at the front desk is always accommodating and friendly.Highly recommended….
