The guy working there completely bought us by making us try some of the flavoured cashews. Definitely request to taste them beforehand! We ended up buying the coconut and garlic ones. Super tasty and original flavours!

I remember having these when I was a child and this was the only place that had them. The matcha white chocolate is my favourite. The lady was super kind and gave me samples to help me pick out what I remembered from back then.

We bought a variety of flavors from the Nut Merchant on Saturday including 2 bags of Sriracha Maple Pecan, 1 Sriracha Lime Cashews, 1 Garlic Pepper cashew, 1 dark chocolate Brazilian nuts and 1 raspberry dark chocolate almonds. It is Tuesday today and I am done most of the nuts. My favorite was the Sriracha Maple Pecan. The freshness is unparalleled and the spicy sweetness is addictive! If nuts have less calories, I could have eaten all of them in one seating. My second favorite is the sriracha lime. The flavor was amazing though I think the nut itself could be a bit crunchier and crispier - not sure if it's because it was in the cone vs the zip pack and hence some humidity got to it. The dark chocolate brazilian nuts were my 3rd favorite. The dark chocolate has a hint of salt in it which enhances the chocolate flavor. My least favorite was the pistachio and the raspberry dark chocolate almond. The pistachio didn't have a lot of flavor after you de-shell it. It would be great if the nice owner at the shop would consider de-shelling before flavoring so the entire nut can be coated in spice. The raspberry dark chocolate tasted a bit artificial. The owner is really nice and very patient with us as we tried almost every flavor. We are nut lovers and wanted to as many of her nuts that we liked as possible and I'm pretty sure we did try almost every nut and she happily attended to us the whole time.I cannot wait to go back for more sriracha maple pecan!

I bought 4 different nut varieties for my husband for Valentine's Day online. They were kindly hand delivered with a chocolate cashew sample. I ate the sample cashews as he isn't a chocolate fan. omg! they were so good. I almost didn't want to give him the gift and eat them all myself. You can tell the higher quality of nut, they were creamy and so fresh. My husband has loved everything he has tried so far. We will definitely have to make a trip to Granville Island to try out some more soon.

Really cute little nut stall with lots of sweet and savory flavors. Really nice service with samples available and advice on what's popular and interesting to try out. A bit on the pricey end but worth trying if you're into unique nuts you can't get elsewhere!

Would give them 4.5 stars if that was an option! Bought 3 cones for $30 from their little stall in the Public Market. Kind service that offered samples (which is always nice, especially for the higher price point of the goods) and suggestions based on flavour preference! 1 was a gift, but from the Garlic Pepper Cashew and Coconut Lime Cashew I tasted, my favourite was the latter. Sweet and tart from the lime, a great combo! The garlic pepper was also good, although I didn't really taste the pomegranate it boasted. You can taste the quality in the cashews, but it's still a high price point for what you get. Either way, they make a wonderful gift (or treat for oneself) and have a wide range of flavours that you'll be happy to choose from!

A small stall in the Granville market, I got quickly addicted when they handed out some samples. Their Maple Sriracha pecan is close to heaven!! I cannot recommend these folks more!

The dark chocolate almonds are good but the maple sriracha pecans are the best thing ever invented. Go grab a bag (or maybe five) if you're ever at Granville Island.
