Still one of the best for All You Can Eat in Richmond. Always a bang for your buck. Service is fast too and food is good. We love the Chicken Wings, Beef Ribs, Chicken Karage and Takoyaki and many more. Be sure to bring your appetite and be patient. We will be back.

Went in for late night AYCE. They mentioned last call was 10:30pm. Instead, was rushed to make the last order at 9:50pm. Of course, that meant our table needed to make a final large order - which they never fulfil so you don’t waste food. But on this occasion (which has happened on two visits now), I left still hungry, at AYCE place.Food quality wise, the sushi rice was cold and hard. The heated foods was OK. Salmon was also not available. You get what you pay for. My theory is that I think these sort of establishments are feeling the inflation pinch and reducing service to customers.

Food quality and options have gone down drastically since I last came here 2 years ago. The menu is overall smaller, I was suprised that they didn't even have miso soup to order. All of the cooked items were severely overcooked - they were super dry and hard. The soba noodles were extremely soggy that they melt in your mouth and not in a good way. The sauce was bland too. The beef tataki was probably the best item on the menu. Sashimi and sushi were quite mediocre. Some of the workers had a bad attitude as if they were in a bad mood. I went with the B menu for $36.95 pp. Might as well spend a few more dollars and go to ShaBuSen for way more options and better quality.

All you can eat sushi place in Richmond. Dinner hours seem quite busy so it’s a good idea to be there before the rush starts. I think they also accept reservations. The quality of the food is mediocre. The beef teriyaki tasted very gamey despite being slathered in teriyaki sauce. The agedashi tofu was served right away but it was lukewarm.Service was bit spotty. The waiter somehow lost our order sheet so our food didn’t come and we didn’t know what happened.

Ninkazu is a bit difficult to score because your experience is heavily based on what menu you order. You very much get what you pay for. If you order cheap sushi, you should expect lower quality food.Ninkazu has three stacking menus with C" being the lowest quality rolls - full of rice and cheap fish - and "A" being the sashimi cuts of better fish

***Avoid ordering Deluxe (A+B+C)!!!***Out of all the sashimi available and ordered, only amebi showed up (at 5 pieces instead of 10); all the other “expensive” sashimi ordered like saba, hamachi, hokkgai, and tai were never brought out. What’s the point of ordering the highest/most expensive tier if they don’t even give you the food you ordered and paid for?Sashimi orders as a whole are reduced in quantity from what you ordered, while the more “filling” food items with rice are brought out first and in bigger portions. This way you’re too full by the time that the more “expensive” items (like sashimi) are brought out so you won’t complain about the orders miraculously being cut. If there was a limit on how many pieces you can order, at least I wish they were upfront about it. And also it doesn’t excuse items just not showing up regardless of how many times they were ordered…If you’re here to get your sashimi fix, then I recommend only ordering sashimi by itself, and not too much other distractions on the menu.Beef tataki is one of my favourites. Although there are times that it’s barely thawed and you can taste the ice shards—and the meat is almost crunchy.

Sashimi is fresh which is quite impressive for an ayce place, foods are served quickly after order. They sometimes miss 1 or 2 pieces on order sheet but that's totally fine. Servers are friendly and fast. Most dishes are great except for some rice and noodle dishes. Parking spot is quite hard to find. Reservation is highly recommended.

Based on other reviews, I went here with high hopes but unfortunately the sushi quality was subpar. Thankfully, other items on the menu were more around the quality and taste you’d expect. For the all you can eat lunch menu, the price is actually better than you can get most places. There is no sashimi included in the lunch menu which is completely fair given the price. Service is reasonable and the atmosphere is fine for a lunch or dinner out with friends/family. Maybe it was just an off experience for me, but if the sushi quality increased to even average, this restaurant would be more than worth experiencing.

Great AYCE sushi for some late night cravings! This is a Richmond staple. The all you can eat menu gets cheaper at night time - I believe after 20:30.The quality of the sushi is passable, I wouldn't say it's great but it's not bad either. For the price and the all you can eat" I would say it's worth it.Overall

The beef short ribs and torched salmon sushi were the stand out items on Menu B. Food was served hot and fresh, but service was very slow and the server never gave us our order sheet back after our second round of orders. If you visit this restaurant, don't be shy to wave your sheet at anyone passing by because sometimes they look right and you and still walk away. Overall, this is a decent place for AYCE sushi, but I still prefer Shabusen.
