I have not written many reviews and I’ve never written a bad one. Well, this is my first.My daughter and I made an appointment to get a matching tattoo. We called up Perfect Image and Gabe was amazing. He checked with the tattoo artist and called me back a few hours later to confirm and to go through the process details.We were very excited to experience this together. As we arrived excitement started to fade. The girl at the front was okay, but not what I expected. The whole place felt unwelcoming. The tattoo artist came out and handed us a copy of the design we chose without saying a word. As I told him that this is not the image we selected, he turned around, left, and came back without saying anything and handed us the corrected version. He guided us in his corner and started preparing his table. He did our tattoos in silence and the situation felt beyond awkward. As he finished, he just said, we have to leave the plastic on for 5-7 days. No instructions of after care, nothing.We went to the front to pay the balance and I even went back to tip the artist. I put a bill in his jar and he didn’t even say thank you.This entire experience was not a good one. I really regret going to this place.

Skylar did tattoos for my girlfriend and myself today, and this was after a quick consult yesterday. He was very receptive to our ideas and adjustments we had for the tattoos. He's pretty quick, not heavy on the gun pressure, and does nice, clean line work. Skylar's a stellar artist and I would highly recommend him.This was the second time I've gotten a tattoo at Perfect Image Banff; the first time was Summer 2016. The facility is clean, the reception was quick to welcome us and attentive, and the artists have always been very professional in our interactions.They also do piercings here. I didn't get any piercings here, but I did buy some hardware. They have a pretty good selection and are reasonably pricedOverall, I highly recommend Perfect Image if you're looking to get a tattoo while in Banff. I've gotten two from them so far, and I'll probably get a third in a few years when I come back.

Had a great experience getting my first tattoo today! Natalia was super nice and was patient when I wanted to switch up placement! I’m super happy with my ink!

As soon as you walk in, everyone is so friendly & the vibe here is amazing. Natalia did both myself & my best friend & she did a wicked job!! Her personality & kindness made the experience so much better. Highly recommend this shop!!

This was my second time going to see nat at perfect image and both times were great experiences! The customer service from both the front desk and nat herself was top notch! Nat made sure I was happy with the design and the placement. Her work station is super clean and inviting. Lovely conversations and amazing vibes made for the best experience. She was super clear on healing and how to care for the tattoo afterwards. Perfect image and nat both are fantastic and I can’t say thank you enough!

Came here for a couple tattoos from Doug, one of my own designs and one I asked him to design for me. He didn’t disappoint, I loved his abstract style. He worked with me to come up with some designs I found satisfying! Also loved his enthusiasm for the work he was producing (:

Walked in quite spontaneously yesterday just wanting to know some info, and ended up getting booked in later that afternoon with Natalia who did such a fantastic job on my little tree tattoo. It’s my favourite one by far the detail is amazing and had an overall great experience there. Fast, friendly, clean and efficient. Thank you :)
