Dear Julia Zhang at JD Development (Owner),It is with a heavy heart that I write this review. I would have liked the content of this review to be a positive one but unfortunately this will not be the case. I was excited to move into my condo on January 10th 2022. Every since I have experience frustration and dis- appointment. I pride myself on being a pretty reasonable person, as such I have made many respectful and futile attempts at reasonable solving various issues: shower head leaks, major fan in bathroom not working, upgrades not honored, major underground safety issues ( under ground garage door has now been missing for two months), all this and I consider my self one of the more fortunate. Elevator conversations have revealed many such issues and much worse. Now, I can understand that issues are inevitable in a new build, that's not our main compliant, however when you have to send several emails regarding issues and the response is either dismissed, ignored or if addressed is so up to 4 or 5 times and is still not resolved you have to wonder what is going on and does Julia Zhang know what is happening here? Furthermore, we all have paper trails so its easy to prove that we have all been more than patient and telling the truth. I personally can prove that I have been outright lied to regarding my upgrade, even though I have proof in writing! I don't know how it got this bad?? At this point it needs to be taken further in order for us to be heard and we are prepared to do so. In addition, there is a high staff turn over at JD and this is never a good sign for a company (usually of the best employees), the front line workers are under paid and over used. The issues written about in the previous tenants' review have yet to be addressed. Unfortunately, elevator conversations as mentioned revolve around unresolved issues ! More importantly there is a sense that JD development could not careless about it's residents the energy is not a positive one. I get the sense that they don't care much about their staff either! like I said I would much rather be writing a positive review. Finally, I am curious to know where the 5 star reviews came from??

I made a request for confirmation of payment few months back and still waiting to receive it. Very unprofessional.

Professional company to work with.

I have purchased many pre construction condos but I have never encountered such a poorly run building. I have had no working AC and since may 20th the only answer u get is they are working on it. My unit is currently at 27 degrees. My senior dog is over heating and have to cool him off with ice packs. There are 34 deficiencies in my unit since dec and the issues are so major that I am going to be forced to move from my condo and go rent until this developer gets the unit to liveable conditions. Water, Plumbing, Floods, you name it there is every issue here. 6 months of emails and nothing done. Other residents and I mean pretty much the entire building has had it we all have so many unresolved issues. I will be brining this to litigation and other owners have mentioned going door to door to do a petition. So I hope this helps others from buying with this builder so you to don’t have to deal with such unprofessionalism.
