Francesca and her team were an absolute treat to work with for our wedding. They really took their time to understand our vision and expectations. They were hands down the best vendor to work with. When we were having tough days navigating wedding things during COVID times - they made us feel at ease. Francesca and her team made sure to take charge during stressful moments and re-assured us along the way. Their communication was top notch - Francesca even went out of her way while on her own personal vacation to meet with us at our venue a month before the wedding to walk through the space to confirm the layout and finer details with us. Our wedding day was perfect! It was exactly as we envisioned and the day went smooth thanks to Francesca, Devon and the crew. We highly recommend using Smitten Events and we would not have chosen anyone else to plan and execute our special day.

We worked with them for our wedding in June 2022 and did their Two Month Takeover. Specifically, we worked with Mariella Koc-Spadero, and she (and the whole team) was the absolute best! We were floundering amidst all the planning and last-minute details and it was great to have someone there to help bring it all together. She was a great sounding board.We met with Mariella a few times before the wedding. The first meeting we went over where we were with everything, what vendors we had chosen etc. She was able to give us advice on certain aspects and provided a great professional opinion. The second meeting was closer to the date where we discussed the timeline and how the day would all work together. This was very helpful in flushing out any last-minute things we hadn’t thought of. On of my favourite parts was the vendor take over. It was so helpful to know it was all coordinating and going to arrive on time.On the day, it was like she wasn’t even there, in the best way possible! If there were any fires or emergencies, I had absolutely no idea. She was even able to help my bridesmaid fix her dress! She and her team put two venues together in record time, making it look even better than I had imagined. Mariella also helped with the take down at the end of the night and made sure everything made it back to all the right vendors.All in all, Mariella and Smitten really made our dream day happen and I can’t imagine doing it without them! 10/10 would recommend anyone getting married or hosting an event to use Mariella and Smitten.

Jennifer and her team were fantastic to work with. She took the time to get to know us and our vision for our wedding. She did an amazing job keeping us on track and communicated with all of our vendors. Jennifer helped make every step as stress free as possible. We had our micro wedding in August 2021. After having to reschedule twice before finally getting a go ahead; we managed to squeeze in between all of the restrictions and had a beautiful COVID safe outdoor ceremony with all of our close family. Jennifer was a beacon of positive energy and we loved working with her. The day of the wedding went so smoothly. She showed up before all the vendors and handled everything for us so we were able to relaxed and enjoy our special day. We couldn't have done this without you! Thank you so much Jennifer!

We are so grateful for our time working with Francesca and her team. We partnered with Smitten to do the two month takeover for our wedding and I recommend it, and Francesca, to anyone who is considering it. After one meeting I knew we had the right person to help us make our wedding the perfect day it was.There were so many items left to do to prepare for the day that we weren’t really sure how to tackle and she used her expertise to help us make the best decisions. She helped us find our remaining vendors and also had existing relationships and experience with the vendors we were already working with which made everything more cohesive than I could have ever possibly dreamed. She even brought up things that I don’t think my partner or I ever really considered that would have absolutely become problems if we hadn’t been working with her.I was able to relax and enjoy my wedding day that much more because I knew that Francesca was in charge and that she could handle anything that came up.

We highly recommend Jordan and the Smitten team! Our planner, Jordan, was our guiding light through the pandemic, helping us plan our wedding in 2020, swapping it for an elopement, rescheduling our ceremony & reception to 2021, then rescheduling it again to 2022. We don't know what we would have done without her - she ushered us through the process with such grace. Our 2020 elopement and 2022 ceremony & reception were beautiful events. Jordan thinks of every detail, is a great communicator (meetings, phone calls, texts, or emails) and makes you feel genuinely special - you can just tell she truly cares. You will not regret working with this wonderful team!

We had our wedding in June 2023, and did their Two Month Takeover. We were lucky enough to work with Jenn Nanavaty and she was the absolute best! Jenn answered all of our many questions and made us feel calm throughout the entire process. Jenn is organized, detailed oriented, and extremely thoughtful. Our wedding day went incredibly smooth and if there was any problems, I had no idea about it. My husband and I were able to enjoy our day without any worries. I can't say enough great things about Jenn and the Smitten Events team.

Hiring a talented professional to take over the coordination with vendors, and to ensure the day goes as planned is a very worthwhile investment and some of the best money spent on the entire wedding. We're wedding photographers here in Vancouver and have personally worked along side Devon and Jordan at Smitten Events for years. They are truly incredible at what they do. Not only is the experience of working with them so fun and rewarding, they are also so professional, organized, passionate and diligent. It's fun being behind the scenes because we get to see how Devon and Jordan go above and beyond for their couples. It's not just the meticulous planning leading up to the day, but all the little details they string together during the wedding. Flawless is how we would describe them.
