Markie's Montreal Smoked Meat
The food (4 oz. smoked meat, fries) was truly amazing. The fries were fresh-cut, piping hot — just glorious.Staff were lovely as well, and interior was nice and clean. I had dine-in. Perfect way to enjoy a meal after a work day on a nasty weather day in Ottawa.

Markie's Montreal Smoked Meat
I ordered with Ubereats from this branch. I had high expectations given the reviews and I actually thought it would have that authentic Montreal smoked meat flavours. But unfortunately the Reuben was not that good. Montreal’s smoked meat is on a different level. The taste of the sandwich was okayish. I also had the smoked meat poutine which tasted better than the Reuben.

First time I’ve found Montreal level smoked meat outside of Montreal. Portions are good and the poutine is tops too. I visit this place about once a month as it’s on my guilty pleasure rotation.

Markie's Montreal Smoked Meat
First time going to Markie's as we love smoked meat and it's hard to find in Orleans. Picked up the family pack, and it was well worth it. Plenty of smoked meat sliced perfectly, fresh rye bread, fries were delicious, lots of excellent dill pickles, and the coleslaw was flavorful. Great service to top it off. Well worth the 20 minute drive but they need to open in Orleans ASAP ! Will certainly be going back in the meantime. Highly recommended.

Excellent smoked meat sandwich ! Wow ! It tasted so good, yes, just like the smoked meat in Montreal ! The sandwich was extremely tender, juicy and great balance of spices. I immediately felt welcomed. The staff is very nice and friendly. The place is very clean. Bathroom is clean . All free parking and wheelchair accessible. You guys have to try this place ! So good ! You don’t need to go to Montreal just come to Markie’s !
