NCC: Where We Work- Manitoba | The Nature Conservancy of Canada's first project in Manitoba was the acquisition of the Kulyk Property in 1992 as part of the Manitoba Tall Grass Prairie project. Since then we have completed more than 150 projects that protect more than 71,161 hectares (175,842 acres) of this province's most ecologically significant land and water. Today, the Manitoba Region continues to work with our partners to protect and steward Manitoba's natural heritage.
