Mermaid Pools and Hot Tubs

Kelsey and Kayla helped open our pool. They explained in detail how the system works, made the whole presentation very easy to understand, and made me feel confident on how to maintain the pool. They are both very friendly, flexible and care very much for a work well done as well as build a positive client care relationship. Look forward to having them again at the end of the season! Service like this is hard to find today.The mermaid team was great starting with Dave. He responded to my needs right away and put me it touch with Phil.Phil went out of his way to take care of the issues with my pool robot. He is a great guy, nice to talk with, good sense of humour and professional at all times.  He went above and beyond expectations. This review is specifically for the two kind ladies K&K, who helped fix my water heater today. You’re very professional and kind, you finished your work efficiently and keeping me in the loop of maintenance and next steps. Mermaid needs to hire more employees like yourselves!!

The technician, Steph, was experienced and efficient. He listened to my observations and administered a pressure test on the system to determine the cause of our pool issue. He also set up a temporary fix to allow us to use the pool properly until the final repair could be completed.

This is how mermaid pools leave your pool after cleaning. Talked to a so called regional manager and said he was personally going to come. When the girls that come to clean the pool weekly said we don’t have a regional manager at this office. So ya 4000$+ a year for this is super unacceptable. What a poor way to run a business.

We are always pleased to see Kayla and Kelsey from Mermaid pools as they are the best in the business. They are never too busy to answer all of our questions and are always working as they go. They are alway on time when they say they are coming and very friendly the entire time. They have taken customer service to a whole new level so much so they convinced me on a robotic pool cleaner that I will be purchasing from Mermaid pools thanks to their recommendations. I phoned and explained my problem to Peter. Once I sent photos he confirmed that it was fixable. Shawn completed the repairs very quickly was really personable. Great service that I’d definitely recommend.

Just had Eric and another technician (Never got his name) show up to open my pool for the season. They showed up early. They were very polite and took the time to do the job. They treated everything with care....My stairs are not normal stairs (very heavy) They never rushed the job and they made sure they were installed properly. I use Mermaid every year for my opening and closing. Its customer service like Eric provided today that keeps me as a return customer. Looking forward to turning everything on and start the swimming season.Not sure if I wrote a review for my purchase. We purchased the pool in summer of 2020 when things were far from normal. The sales team were great right down to delivery and installation. We were dealt a few bad cards thanks to COVID with installation dates and the supply of heaters. In the end we got our pool and heater. Mermaid was great getting the job done and keeping the lines of communication open. After the first year I had a piece crack near the jet and Mermaid was quick to replace it under warranty. After the first winter the ground shifted and Mermaid once again was quick to get it back to normal at the end of the season. This summer will be our 4th summer and we couldn't be happier.

Kelsey and Kayla visited us yesterday to undertake our regular pool maintenance. As this is only our second summer with a pool, they took the time to explain each of the tasks that they performed, adding considerably to our knowledge and understanding.
