Silly me, I need to open up my eyes! I knew of the past restaurant that existed here but never paid any attention to what came along next…Interestingly, a contact recently suggested this destination for a business meeting and let me say, I was impressed and truly enjoy my meal.They have lots of Japanese options and do things quite traditionally.

This sushi restaurant is absolutely amazing! The staff is incredibly friendly, the atmosphere is modern and trendy, and the menu offers a wide variety of sushi options to choose from. The sushi itself is top-notch, with high-quality fish and creative flavor combinations. The appetizers and drinks are also great. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a high-quality sushi experience. Five stars!

Underrated Japanese BBQ restaurant.If you want somewhere to eat alone or with company accompanied by sweet cool jazz in the backround, being delivered juicy and salivating food with immaculate atmosphere, a chance to get the window seat adding to the peaceful vibes, then this is the place for you.Oreno has a kind and straightforward service coupled with food of value. It provides a wide variety of choices that will certainly satisfy people's cravings.Overall, this is why this restaurant is a good spot to hang around with family, friends, or co-workers since it gives the customers a friendly and warm atmosphere to spend time peacefully.

Had an impromptu early supper here. Extremely fast service and good food with clean flavours. Don't be confused by the common and narrow entry point to the BBQ place. A flight of stairs takes you up to a very spacious bar and restaurant space. The BBQ service is a must try and the joy of grilling your own meat at the table is something else.

We love Oreno! We were regulars when we lived in Saskatoon and make a point of visiting whenever we’re back in Saskatoon.On our most recent visit we had the Pork Katsu Bento, a seriously generous box of deliciousness. The pork katsu is crunchy and juicy, and the delicious sauce complements the always on point rice perfectly. The addition of their famous Kakiage and chicken nanban takes this to a whole other level. At $18.95 this is a steal!We also devoured a plate of luscious salmon sashimi and a fantastic Oreno roll (no photo for that - we ate it too fast!).The quality of their food just keeps getting better. We live in Toronto, which has many, many excellent Japanese restaurants. And we can say with certainty that if Oreno were to open in Toronto they’d be packed day in and day out.Great food and fantastic value for money. A true Saskatoon gem.

For the geeks it's like the tardis. Walk into what looks like a tiny little room only to get ushered through a door I didn't even notice at first and up some stairs into a decent sized place. The staff was friendly and helpful the food was excellent.

My family came here for dinner to celebrate my Mom’s birthday. As it was our first time eating there, we had an amazing experience overall with their excellent service.My sister and I ordered nigiri and sashimi - we were surprised and satisfied at the portion of their fish:rice ratio compared with other sushi restaurants.We also ordered the Sukiyaki (for 2 people). The owner was so nice to teach us how to eat it (as we’ve never had it before). We were also surprised at how delicious it was so we ate everything, leaving the plates clean.

Had the chance to visit Oreno Yakiniku for my brother's birthday and it was overall a great dining experience. The atmosphere was great and the food was delicious. The sauce and the salad are especially very authentic and close to what I have tasted when I was in Japan. Our server, I believe her name was Shayna, went above and beyond to made sure we had a fantastic experience for my brother's birthday. Would definitely recommend to anyone!
