The place is iconic and just near the highway. The ice cream is great! Would love to go back!

Dairy Queen has never let me down. Yes, the lines are long, and yes, it's expensive for what you get, but will I ever say no to an ice cream after a good hike or bike ride... Never.

Well, on St. Patrick's Day this past Thursday I wanted to go to McDonald's to crush a craving for their seasonal Shamrock Shake.Alas their dining room was closed to the public for lack of staff so I decided to do the next best thing and get a sweet treat from Dairy Queen. That Dairy Queen always makes springtime official. The Dairy Queen in L'Île-Perrot is better than any groundhog to predict Spring is here to stay.Traditionally, I always have something from there as soon as they open

I was driving past heading back to Niagara and saw this gem....pulled a U-turn and glad I did..... WOW.... built in 56 and dressed to the nines...i own the oldest dairy Queen in Canada ours built in 54 and seeing this makes me think I have a lot to live up too.... just WOW.....staff was also incredible. I've been in the Dairy Queen business for decades.... never seen such a fine example of a historical store.....

My wife and I try to get to this Dairy Queen a couple of the mes a year. The location is great, right after the Galipeault bridge (heading west) and site beside a Smoke Meat Pete's restaurant.Staff is always on point and are very good at making the deserts in a timely fashion. The duo that were there last night were quick and efficient. (Wed May 17).Added bonus is that retro DQ sign. Absolutely love it.Keep up the good work.

It’s just only two windows. But it’s in a nice place near the highway and it’s been there since 1956.They have a lot things and treats that you can try. They also have tables to sit at if you want. Very nice and close to the island of MTL as well. The employees that day were nice and kind. They are bilingual with mostly French speakers. Will visit again in the near future.

Pulled up on this DQ for last minute ice cold sweet treats on the way home from a backyard bbq and couldn’t be more pleased with my experience. Though the crowd seemed heavy, we had blizzards in hand within minutes. The service we fast, efficient and friendly and I was slamming Skor chunks blended in vanilla ice cream before I knew it! Bonus points for the vintage, no frills aesthetic. This is one of the few last classic DQs in the city. The old neons and overall look really help sell the OG vibe of the DQ creamery style.
