Clarkson Pump & Patio
We went after work on a Saturday evening and I wasn't packed for a Saturday night. There was a live acoustic guitarist singing cover songs which was really relaxing and the food was amazing. Highly recommend the Volcano burger and any of the wings.

Went in for a quick bite on a weekday afternoon. I ordered the burger, and It was delicious.The padio environment was nice outside, I enjoyed my short visit.The staff was nice and polite.Thank you.

Please update the way you make and take reservations. Perhaps get the online booking format. The last five times my friends and I have made a reservation there has been an issue.*Table was reserved but given to a staff family members who did not have a reservation.*People were sat at the reserved table too close to our reservation time and were not done.*Table requested was not reserved.*Reservation was in the book but no one actually reserved the table.*Reservation was written down for the wrong day. We were told it was our fault. Impossible since we only go Wednesday evenings.Last incident was the only one we received an apology for. After waiting 20 minutes we were offered a drink while waiting. As a group and individuals we are there regularly. If issues continue we will choose a different restaurant.Also, maybe consider an apology right away when you make a mistake and customers are upset. These issues happen at no other restaurants in the area.

Above average patio with mature tree for some shade. Chicken wings are far superior to what you get at most bars & pubs. Creemore on tap as well as other good beer. Sadly, locally brewed Old Credit is no longer available. Lovely staff!

Nice patio away from traffic, fast service, cold beer, and really hot food! Can't really ask for more. One odd thing: the chairs were a little low for the tables. Changing that up would be nice.

Food was good, with the exception of the calamari, tasted freezer burnt. Wings, were delicious. Service was ok. Our table was very sticky but when we asked the server to clean it, he did. Definitely coming back. Had a great anniversary lunch with my husband

It's so disappointing to see such a familiar place go downhill as much as The Clarkson Pump has. I've been coming here for many years and in my honest opinion, it seems as though the management is completely non-existent nowadays.The atmosphere in here has declined substantially and I actually feel bad for the staff as they all seem to be under pressure due to the lack of support from management.Why is everything in this place broken, old, caked in dust and really just a complete eye sore? All of the shutters on the windows inside are broken and hardly serve their purpose anymore. They are just plain hideous, and can easily be replaced. Not to mention the horrible tables that are so beat up, they look like they came from a dumpster. I swear that's not even half of it. The list goes on. This place is falling apart at the seams and there's absolutey no sense of urgency to fix anything. Does anyone actually care about this place? It's upsetting to me that what once was my favourite place to go out for dinner in Clarkson is now at the bottom of the list.I will however, continue to order take out from here frequently because the food is always very good! I have never had an issue with their food and absolutely love all the different options they have on their menu!! Just wish that the place wasn't so run down and we could enjoy coming here again. Truly hope to see some changes here in the near future.

Heather was the best server we have had here.Our group of 6 peolle spontaneously decided to stop by for lunch today.Heather was welcoming, informative on the menu choices, and understood we were under a time limit so she promptly served us and brought the bills quickly at our request. She took the time to engage with us in friendly chat, which was refreshing.The food was delicious with generous portions! The Mac & cheese, calamari, Chili Thai cauliflower bites and lunch specials were all made well with seemingly fresh ingredients.Will definitely return :)

This place is AWESOME!We had a birthday party for my daughter. Approximately 20 of us. Our server Damian looked after all of us making sure drinks were refreshed regularly etc. For the size of our party you would expect food delays however we had our food in a timely manner and hot! Cudos to the management of this restaurant! You got it! The food is top notch!
