MacArthur Jamie

Jamie & Laurel helped me with my paperwork for my divorce. Jamie never judged me every time I came to his office. He was empathetic, and has effective listening skills. Jamie was very easy to deal with. He was very knowledgeable about his job. He didn't discount me because I didn't have alot of monies up-front. My monies were tied into my home. And I was on disability and unable to work. Jamie dealt with me fairly and professionally and I am grateful for his services. Laurel (his assistant), was kind and compassionate, happy, friendly and very skilled. I never once felt alone during the whole process. It took a couple of years before I could pay him in full, and he patiently waited, never bugging me at anytime. I'm just happy I picked him for my Lawyer. I would recommend his business to anyone experiencing family law. My file was never in Provincial court only in Family Supreme court. Supreme court is harder than Provincial and Jamie walked me thru it with knowledge, skills and ability. Jamie acted like he genuinely cared about me as a person. Even years later, he acts the same. I would first off like to give a huge Thank you, to Jamie MacArthur and his assistant Laurel.I was recommended by a friend to talk to Jamie, even though I had given up hope on my case.I had been turned down by so many lawyers, due to my case being very difficult and costly.Jamie took the time to talk to me about my case and offered to help me, with a low retainer to start.Things were a bit slow it seemed at first , but there were good reasons for that. I also knew Jamie was extremely busy and I did not want to push anything as I was extremely lucky to have him.Because of the trauma I endured through my situation, I now suffer from severe anxiety, and illness. Jamie made me quite nervous at times, as he was straight to the point, and would stop me in several of my topics, that I thought were important. (Lol) I think he was saving the frustration , time ,and money that I didnt have. I appreciated that , as I didnt really understand or was sure at the time.Over time, when things started becoming more difficult , Jamie without words could see what happend at the beginning of my case, when I was unrepresented. He picked up quickly some of the issues that happend in my case, but were no longer relevant. He did that on his own time.He stressed to me to be truly honest, which I appreciated.. Especially when you hear so many horror stories of cases and lawyers.I believe Jamie seen the injustice in my matter, from the other partys , and how I was treated poorly not having someone represent me from the beginning . I was easily manipulated and treated dishonestly from the other side! The kind of stories you here about lawyers doing!Thank goodness that I finally had some good luck, and was blessed to have Jamie !My belief, is that Jamie believes in the truth, justice , people's rights and fairness. But that I state on my own opinions and thoughts, from what I seen him do for me. He is brilliant, and is not afraid of a challenge. When he gets going , hes all yours and puts amazing time and effort into your case . He will actually blow your mind!I highly recommend to anyone, to have patience, listen , and trust that this is the lawyer you want!What ever the case , this man is brilliant, and I also believe he strives on the challenge, as he will take time to think of the right strategies, and what's right for you.
