All I can say is I cant wait till my dad changes route because of this place he misses our family dinner. His route is perfect all except this placeThey dont care about the drivers that come there and sit and wait! Its bs. Everywhere else he goes they load and unload him right away. This place he can be sitting at the dock for an hour or so before they start on him. He will never go back after this week. Worse place he says he has ever delivered too. I had to comment. This place is horrible to drivers!!

Unlike the other reviews, this has nothing to do with management or coworkers, in fact I've had a really great group of fellow employees and supervisors I got to work alongside.No, this review is instead about the working conditions and chemicals present at work. They do their best to try and pass it off as just nothing, but one product in particular, the adhesion primer that is used in just about every station in the entire building, was my source for concern after feeling nauseous and dizzy all the time. After bringing it up, I found that it wasn't just myself, but everyone else I worked with was having these same symptoms.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you look into the safety data sheets of this and any other chemical they have you work with, and you'll think twice about working here (for reference, the chemical in question is a 3M product called K520UV, you can find all this on the 3M website). Fertility issues, cancer, and nervous system/sensory organ damage are only some of the issues these products can cause. Not to mention the huge detrimental impact on the environment. The reality is, if you decide to work here for any extended period of time, constantly exposed to hazardous chemicals and repetitive tasks, you are not just giving the hours you spend here for a paycheck; you are also trading in years off of your lifespan.TG claims that they value the safety of all their employees, though to me it just seems that their main concern is keeping you safe so you continue to work for them in the short term. They could care less about your long term health, otherwise they would have switched to one of the many safer alternatives for the chemicals they use which do not contain hydrocarbons and other hazardous ingredients. The bare minimum for working with these should be face mask respirators and protective gloves for everyone, but of course it's much easier (and cost effective) to just give everyone a fan and tell them they'll be fine.I hope not only possible future employees but also those currently employed here see this, and really consider just how much your paycheck is worth to you.

Not good place for work...don't waste your time

It's a great place to work if you like to constantly be lied to and treated like trash especially if you have to miss time for having a mental illness and have to spend time in the hospital. If you raise a health concern theyll instantly brush it under the rug as if you said nothing, for example requesting gloves to handle a matterial you feel is unsafe just to be ignored and find the barrel has a corrosive label.

I just don’t prefer my friends should work and management isn’t good at all. It’s all the management that’s weird. Moreover, it’s also the toxic environment that could drain you. Management takes action without listening to both the sides and without any good analyzing. To be honest, I was depressed and got kicked in by anxiety almost my every shift. There are other jobs, that would be better. Trust me!

For the year I’ve been there, I actually enjoy working there. It has kept me busy the whole time from when I start till I get to go home. I recommend everyone who is old enough to work here to get a better understanding of how parts are made.

The job is great for learning new things and keeps you busy. You get the satisfaction of knowing a part you assembled is going in an auto that will be driven. I have seen morale go up and down like a toilet seat this last year. TG has motto o safety first but that however does not pertain to getting to work or home at the end of shift. We are expected to drive through horrible winter conditions. I have slid off road more than once. I have driven through complete whiteouts while praying to make it to work. If the road is open you had better be there orface the consequences.

Work was easy and the pay was good .However the night shift supervisor and the assistant manager for paint assembly are extremely rude and arrogant. They lack basic ethics on how to treat an employee. I faced racism did not expect for this to happen. I got blamed for my shift schedule whereas it was an issue on the management's side and was pressurized at work. I was expected to work at the pace of my colleagues who had been working there for 1-2 yrs when it was just my third day of working there. I hope this gets resolved and the supervisors are taught basic ethics.

They advertise (big sign outside their processing plant) that they want people to work for them. When you apply, they go through the whole interview process, then they tell you they will contact you. When they DON'T contact you, and you phone them, they tell you, you didn't get the job. The HR person who interviewed me, wasn't professional, curteous or even knowledgeable, the person was unfriendly and even stated that I would definitely be a good fit for the company. I found that to be incongruous and I had my doubts about getting the job. In short, DON'T APPLY TO TG MINTO FOR A JOB.
