ABH Movement | A safe and inclusive fitness space for compassionate folks who want to build physical and mental strength without shame or judgement. We use trauma-informed, empathetic language and movements to connect with all kinds of folx, and we fully encourage lying on the floor or leaving class if something does not resonate. First week is on us.

Alex is a high energy, smart, knowledgeable and motivating coach who puts together amazing programs and has created a welcoming and inspiring community through her Virtual Superhero Workouts. These LIVE classes have been a major factor in helping me through the pandemic, and many days it's the real sense of connection to Alex and the team that has gotten me out of bed for a 6 a.m. workout.

I never thought I would LOVE online fitness but with the pandemic came new experiences. Thank goodness for Alex. Her classes are fun and motivating precisely because Alex provides options for all levels of fitness. Plus, her kinesiology expertise means that her cues are incredibly accurate to get just the right muscle moving (so important to avoid injury). There are moves I've done for decades that I finally got 'just right' with her detailed coaching around a slight adjustment. Even though I've been at this for years, this has been one of the best fitness years of my life (I'm 52).

Her programming is thoughtful, adaptable and simultaneously doable and pushing the edges, but more than that, she creates caring community. Her morning workouts sustain my mental health and have actually made me stronger and more resilient in every aspect of my being. Alex is a deeply kind, caring, loving human and she brings that to every interaction with every client. Incredible coach. Classes are extremely supportive and fun, and Alex makes things very easy to adapt if you have joints or pains you need to work around. Enthusiastic atmosphere that is about achieving your goals and general health and wellness, with no focus on diet or weight and best - no negative self talk!! Best fitness instructor I've ever worked with.

Alex is, hands down, the best trainer I have ever had. She is skilled, sensitive, energized and totally devoted to making working out fun. I hate working out but the community that she has created keeps me invested and it has paid off in my strength, flexibility and form in my movements. I would be a sadder, more in pain human over the past year if not for her. Amazing Amazing Amazing 6/5 stars.

Alex is such a caring, kind, and authentic person and such a motivating, knowledgeable and attuned coach. Oh, and she also has the most infectious positive energy! Alex is flexible and always gives lots of options for various movements, and her programming changes frequently enough to stay fresh, develop new skills/master old ones and see lots of progress. Alex is the best fitness coach that I've ever had. The combination of her energetic, supportive personality and fitness expertise is truly magical. She thoughtfully designs an amazing virtual fitness program that is challenging and suited for all fitness levels. I've attended Alex's classes for a year, and I have seen significant improvements in my mobility and overall fitness, including learning how to do a handstand! I have learned so much from hearing her cues, and she always offers modifications for all movements. She's a gem, and I highly recommend her classes!

Alex is a fantastic coach who has helped me tremendously in the past year, both with technical understanding of fitness and with the motivation to simply show up and exercise. She puts so much thought and effort into her programming, and cares about every single member of the group classes as if they were a private client. I've been part of her classes when they were as small as 5 people and as large as 30 or more, and she somehow always manages to challenge every individual class member in the exact way they need. I wholeheartedly recommend Alex, as a private coach and as a group leader, for any level of fitness experience.

Fitness for me needs to be enjoyable or it will not be a priority. Alex has a way of encouraging her classes to participate how it will work best for each individual. She provides coaching and feedback in such a positive and obviously caring manner that you can’t help but come away encouraged and energized. I give my highest endorsement.
