Rated 2 stars out of 5 because that's about how many cab experiences aren't frustrating out of every 5. One main issue I've experienced is drivers expecting you to guide them step by step to an address across the city. It would be like me as a plumber, asking the customer to solder a pipe while I go get materials.If a driving service is offered....offer the entire service. There's no reason cabs shouldn't have GPS in 2023.Second issue and is the lack of general courtesy. If a cab is booked for a certain time that says it's to go to work or airport, the impatient driver calling 10mins ahead of time to ask when you'll be out is uncalled for. Customers should not be treated as inconvenience.Cab fares go up and service seems to keep. Going down. I can't recall the last time I had multiple bags for a job or at the airport and had to load and unload everything while the driver sat scowling in the front seat. They used to be happy to lend a hand....you know: customer service.

You might be in a hurry to take your customer somewhere, but that doesn't mean you can be a bully and cut in front of someone to get to the stop sign first. Unprofessional

I don’t know what has happened in the last few months at Unicity, but my experience with them lately has gone severely downhill.In the past week alone, I’ve had 2 issues. The first happened on Saturday when a cab accepted my booking while only being a 2 minute drive from me and took just over 10 minutes to get to me. There were no traffic accidents or delays on the road seeing how once they finally left their starting point, they were here within the usual time it takes to get from point a to b.The second happened today when trying to get home with groceries. Before booking through the app, I looked in the parking lot of the store to see if there were any and there wasn’t, so I created a booking. It was accepted within seconds and then less than a minute later marked a no show. I recreated the booking and the same thing happened. During this no cabs from Unicity entered the parking lot. I tried to create the booking again and was blocked by the app due to the no shows being flagged. I gave up and just walked home - which normally I would do, but today was a bad pain day for me and walking that distance with all my groceries has now caused it to get worse.

If I could rate a -5 i will, called a cab before he even started driving he already start the meter and all the way he was on the phone and was very loud not paying attention to the traffic ,as a cab driver they know should be professional ,he slow down a block before and looking for a different address and them when we told him the number again he said that we gave him the wrong address am been living there for 5 year how can I give you the wrong address? But even I record him and took his number I know the company won't do anything about it

Horrible service. Waited an hour and a half, called them twice and ordered on their app. Ended up asking for help on facebook because they left me stranded. Thank God for good friends to save the day!Have used them in the past but will never use again.

Dispatch lady was very poignant with the use of a van. Not very helpful at all. So I said goodbye and hung up abruptly and called Duffy's. No problem...

The absolute worst cab company in the city. I used their app frequently but back in April, I took a cab to work, the cab driver asked me how I would be paying and I stated I would be paying cash. I booked through the app, I normally turn off to charge my card, but when I was dropped off, I handed him the cash for the fare. I later checked my credit card and it too was charged the fare, even though I paid cash for the ride. I contacted them to let them know this had happened and was scolded for paying cash but they said I'd receive a refund on my card for the ride. This was beginning of April and now into June, I still did not receive my refund so I was double charged for this fare. I did not receive a credit or refund. Just a bunch of thieves working here, robbing their regular customers. I will never use their service again.

May 28, 2023 approximately 8:45 pm. Booked a cab online. Typed in pick up address, waited out front for cab. When cab didn't show, I called driver. Driver said he went to address, (gave address he went to) was nowhere close to address that was booked for pick up. Told him on phone what pickup address was, he swore at me and hung up. Was cab #201. I booked another cab for pick up. Cab arrived within 5 minutes. If possible, could I have a 5 minute conversation with the driver of #201 on this particular evening?

This taxi driver was so polite and professional, it was Car 008. Had a nice talk. I'm usually suspicious about taxi drivers but he didn't make me feel uncomfortable or anything like that. I made sure to leave a good tip because I know most taxi drivers have it hard too. I just don't like that little Percent of taxi drivers that give the rest of bad name.

I’m amazed! The app worked so well. Just had to leave a good review. Booked our cab at 6:30pm for an 8pm pickup. Driver arrived at our house at 7:55. End of concert at Club Regent booked another cab and by the time we got outside, our cab was waiting for us. Having the number of the cab from the booking was VERY helpful. This was New Year’s Eve! Expected a big hassle but was very satisfied with the efficiency of Unicity Taxi. Thank you!
