Service was good but food had highs and lows. The avocado toast with goat cheese and balsamic was pretty good but the salad that came with it was sub par. Additionally there was only one piece of bread with avocado making it a pretty small dish, would have been much better if they tossed the salad and had two pieces of bread.The Sangria was not the best and unfortunately this location doesn't have milk shakes which I like at Fables other location.

Straight across cafe Medina. We definitely went to try and get into cafe Medina to find out that it was sold out. Coming to a surprise here at this restaurant, super friendly staff, quick service, good food, lots of space and contemporary music playing! A solid choice from now on and worth recommending.Does have a weird smell to it, typical diner. Smells kinda old in there.

Really excellent patio space in the middle of downtown. Tasty and beautifully crafted cocktails were definitively a highlight. Loved everything we tried drink-wise (Bourbon Lemonade, Purple something and Patio Punch). For food, I had the gnocchi which was light but not hugely flavourful. Service staff were super friendly and attentive. All-in-all one of my favourite casual spots downtown and is now a go-to for me.

This new location is in the old Kingston Taphouse. Had there not been a sign out front, I probably would never have noticed the change - everything inside was exactly the same.Our servers were friendly. I could've used a drink top up but I was at the end of the table in the corner so I guess I was too far away to be offered one? It wasn't that busy so I was a little surprised but that's the only whine I have about service.Otherwise, I had the bar burger with yam fries. The sandwich was tasty and the yam fries were good, even without any dipping sauce. I was too full for dessert but I will try definitely leave room next time.

The WORST brunch in Vancouver by far!! The staff was trying hard which I appreciate but I first ordered the belgian waffle with a fruit compote, and what I received were bright yellow, gritty textured sour “waffles” that left a taste in my mouth like when you bake with too much baking soda, just awful. They also came with about 5-10 blueberries and no syrup. I had to send them back and I got a basic eggs benny, just a poached egg with hollandaise on an english muffin, and I requested cheddar cheese. The cheese was undetectable and overall still disappointing. The cherry on top was the potatoes. I had asked what the breakfast potatoes are like, there’s a lot of different ways of making them, but when the server said they were crispy I said that’s great, and they asked if I wanted them extra crispy and I said no, but they came out black and charred. I barely ate anything and I was left feeling gross and my friend felt the same about their turkey sandwich. Will not be going again. It was very clear to the server that the meals were not satisfactory, their response was that they're trying new recipes and that waffles are not their specialty. So then don't have them on the menu. There are no excuses for this food and charging what you charge. There are other reviews that are similar so instead of justifying low quality food, change your standards or at least Google some recipes.

I went on a Sunday at 10:00 am and there were only two more table, so three in total. Service was extremely slow, and food was very sad. I ordered a salmon bagel with cream cheese" and they were apparently short in cream cheese as you can see in the picture

It's great. Need I say more. It's easy to see why they have expanded around Vancouver. The brunch here is great, and they take reservations, so no wait in line.

What a great brunch place on a beautiful patio. It really reminds me of Europe. The churro waffles was so dense and delicious.
