The Barefoot Cafe
Holy smokes, I went here with an expectation that this was the park food I grew up eating, expensive, greasy and just barely about eating cardboard. Was I totally and utterly blown away. These folks are putting put genuinely great grub. The cheeseburger, hotdogs and chicken fingers were SO good. The burgers on brioche buns, a stack of fresh lettuce, non-processed chedar and onions makes this a perfect park option. Portions are generous. I would come back in a heart beat.

The ice cream is definitely the reason to go here! The food is alright, just quite high priced for what you get and it takes quite a while to get it. They seem understaffed quite often as you frequently see staff running back and forth between the ice cream car & the food building. But the amount of ice cream for the price can’t be beat and it’s served out of a really good converted trolley/bus.I only wish they’d extend their hours over long weekends in summer. Closing at 8 on long weekends is quite early considering they’re crazy busy those weekends. If anything just keep the ice cream going later.

Nice little store to grab a bite to eat on the beach. Many ice cream options and other cold treats to beat the heat. A number of picnic tables at the front are available to use. Prices are reasonable and not really any more or less than other ice cream places. Closed over the winter but opens again in the spring through to Fall

Great selection of meals and ice cream. Some items are a bit pricy and can be a bit slow at times. But overall I really enjoyed my burger and service, even if it took some time. Thanks!

Good tool forever staff was rude and when they got my order wiring and I asked for it to be fixed they went out for a smoke break before fixing it.

Had the katsu burger, bad choice, I might actually be sick from it, worst food Ive had in a long time. If I get up the bravery to try the other menu items mentioned in the good reviews and its any good I would amend my rating but damn. Im sorry that was just so so bad...

Best chocolate twist cones I've ever had! Poutine and bacon burger were very flavorful! My first burger was a little pink in the middle of the patty but they made me another whole burger when i mentioned it. Kids were a bit disappointed that there was no sweet and sour sauce option (their favorite) for the chicken fingers.
