I picked up golf in the pandemic and have been working hard at improving my game. I was a bit trepidatious getting fitted as I was worried I would quickly outgrow my clubs as my handicap drops, and that they wouldn't be a great fit for me in a few years. I was also worried that my fitter would pressure me to buy new and aftermarket everything, and boy was that not the case. Paul was super attentive, cognizant of my wants, budget, and that my swing was still developing. He actually suggested that I not buy new irons (something I was considering buying) for another season or so since the relative gain in scoring I would get would be minimal and in a season he may recommend a different set of irons. My driver swing on the day of my fitting was also all over the place, again Paul was great. He simply suggested I come back another day to ensure that I get fitted for the right club. The best part is that the fitting fee with TXG is that it's something you pay for once, so if you have a bad day with the driver like I did or get told to come back in a season, there's no added cost to come back for that club (which relieves so much pressure).There's a reason TXG is considered the best, and I can't wait to get back there.

Today I had a full bag fitting with Paul. I have been watching Ian Fraser on YouTube for quite awhile, I probably have watched every video. I truly believe that Ian is the best fitter in the world. For unspoken reasons I could not get Ian to to do my fitting. The next best thing I thought would be someone who works with him. Paul was amazing. He is very knowledgeable and professional. The complex in unbelievable, the best I ever seen. Paul did not pressure me in any way to purchase anything. He provided me with all the specs and his opinions. In the end I did purchase a driver shaft and ping wedges. Paul thank you for making this a pleasant experience and I feel that I left with no regrets and can't wait to get my new clubs. I will definitely be back when it's time.

I would highly recommend a fitting here if you are in the market for new clubs. Regardless of skill level.Paul couldn’t have done a better job on my fitting. Very knowledgeable and patient. He could tell my swing just wasn’t there after the first session and actually suggested I come back a week later. It didn’t cost me any more to come back. I’m sure many fitters would have pushed me into a set after the first session and I would have been second guessing or not upgraded at all.I came back for the second session and immediately we started seeing the results we were looking for. I was fit into a set I never considered originally which is the beauty of no brand bias fittings like this.I went through the custom build shop to get the shaft I needed and the clubs are ready at least two weeks earlier then projected. You may have to wait a bit but on a purchase like this it really is worth it.If you’re thinking about it do it.

My fitter was Paul at the Toronto location. From my email communication to TXG, Brett (cs rep) was great at communicating with me. Him and I must exchanged 20+ emails prior to my visit. Glad I was able to meet him and thanked him in person.Arrived at the location and looked exactly like the video and was fitted at the bay they film as an add bonus. Paul first asked about my game and what I'm looking for during the session. I was fitted at club champion near me in April but not too thrilled about it. The fitter added lead tapes to my driver/5w/7w hosel to increase sw. I think I made their days when I showed them what club champion did and they laughed ( not at me more at the fitter). I am definitely not going back to that fitter at Club Champion.Iron: Paul was very patient and we went through tons of different heads. Probably spent 90min on iron, learned a ton from Paul.Woods: I wasn't swinging driver at all that day so Paul suggested just keep my current and work on the driver swing. Started hitting 3w 5w and 7w. Paul suggest that no need for 3 wood and 7 wood. Just 5w and a hybrid to bridge the gap from 5 iron.Wedges: some questionable suggestion from club champion again. Couldn't hit that many balls as I was exhausted from all other swings.Putter: club champion suggested phantom x5.5. I told Paul since I got the putter and my putting is worse than ever. So we went on the quantic system and it showed my old putter actually works really well with my stroke while the scotty isn't a fit for me at all due to its moi which made the ball bounced.I spent about 4 hours at the facility. Paul made some great suggestions to how to set up my bag. He was not pushy at all about the purchase. Now I'm just waiting for TXG to build the clubs :). Overall it was a great experience and definitely worth 8 hours of drive from the US. Going forward if I need new clubs I will make sure to make a trip to TXG.

Thanks for the unbiased information on your channel. I finally went to Club Champion in Louisville, KY, and I cannot express how much fun and what a great experience I had with fitter Bailey Tonelli. He was honest and help me organize the information to make a great decision. Thanks again, you inspired the start of this.

TXG is the best fitting studio in Canada. Over the past 3 years I have received a driver fitting, iron fitting, and putter fitting. All three resulted in me buying a club or shaft and loving it. I have also referred my father, my father in law, and several close friends. All in all - my referrals and I have spent close to $20,000 here. And we would do it again!I love the TXG experience. Once you're in the fitting - it's incredible. Everyone who works there is so nice and incredibly knowledgable. You get what you pay for here and I will probably never buy a club again unless it comes through them.

Had a driver fitting with Brett at TXG, it was a fantastic experience. He is very knowledgeable and was able to describe my swing characteristics in simple to understand terms. He quickly diagnosed some potential issues/inefficiencies and had me in a great head/shaft combo within a few tries. Even then, he was incredibly patient and let me try multiple different combos to see if he could get any more out of my swing. Absolutely great experience, will definitely be back for future fittings!

I had a fitting at TXG Mississauga this week. What an amazing experience. I was greeted by Ian in the lobby while I waited for my fitter Dean. They made me feel super comfortable right from the gecko. I started my fitting by getting warmed up and Dean analyzing my swing habits with zero pressure. Throughout the fitting Dean gave me tips and guided me throughout the entire process and explained all the numbers that were provided by the Quad. After the fitting I felt zero sales pressure from the staff and made me feel confident and informed leaving the session. I would ONLY and highly recommended TXG especially Dean to achieve the best golf fit possible. Thanks for giving me the Tour Experience!-Tom

Was well worth the drive from pennsylvania to Toronto in the middle of the biggest snowfall of the year. Had a full bag fitting with Dean with a main focus on irons/wedges as I had previously been fit for driver, wood, hybrid, putter elsewhere. Txg was on a whole different level than other fitters. Dean quickly noticed a problem of my iron strike being significantly toe down with my current set (RBZ with stiff shafts). He was able to quickly fix that issue with a shaft and tried a few different heads and landed on a mizuno jpx 923 HM pro. Irons have been working way better since I received them. They seem to be a great fit. He also set me up with a 54/12 and 58/08 T22 wedge. These have been by far the best wedges I’ve ever played as the grind and bounce are working perfect for me. What I was most impressed with was the 2i Dean set me up with. I had mentioned I needed a safe off the tee only club for tighter holes. Dean got me set up with a Srixon mk 2 utility iron with a 4i length shaft as he noticed my strike point typically becomes more inconsistent as the shafts get longer. This club has worked incredible off the tee when I don’t need driver distance. Lastly, I was struggling with a heal stroke off driver. Dean had me try a few different heads and shafts, but didn’t make much difference. He settled on making an adjustment with my current driver (TSR2 and shaft). The adjustment made a huge difference even with the heal strike. Since then, I’ve got my swing dialed in and am more consistent/longer than ever off the tee. Overall I highly recommend txg for any fitting. It did take a little longer than expected to receive my clubs, but the wait was well worth it.

This review is for the Calgary location or TXG.The experience started out very good. I liked the fitting process and how we selected clubs. I was told that day (May 3, 2023) that the order would take 5 weeks. On May 30th, I emailed Tim to get an update. He told me that the shafts I had ordered were arriving that week and I would get an update on shipping. No update ever came, I even sent 2 follow ups after June 5th with no responses. I then called TXG in Toronto for an update on June 13th. Whoever I spoke to first told me they didn't have the shafts I ordered, then said they did have them and they would be built and shipped within 2-3 business days. It has now been another 10 days and still no clubs. I went into the shop in Calgary and neither of the employees could give me an answer about the status of my order. They didn't know if the shafts arrived, or if the clubs have been built, or if they had or were being shipped. Absolutely a terrible customer service experience after a good fitting. Terribly disappointing
