WORST SERVICE EVER - BEWARE. Today the owner charged my mother 29$ for a cleaning and repair of shoe strap. The amount was not rung up and no receipt was given. The shoe was in worse condition than when we had dropped it off. The strap peeled, revealing unfinished leather, and when I confronted him on behalf of my mother, the owner was extremely rude and aggressive. He raised his voice, insulted us, and continued to rant and rave as he glued the portion back. He had been away on holiday two months and claimed that he was not responsible for the condition of the shoe. The result of the subsequent repair was horrible. He did a botched job and now the repaired area is stained brown from the glue. I will be reporting this business to the Office de la protection du consommateur and I warn other consumers to avoid this terrible experience. WOULD HAVE RATED ZERO STARS IF POSSIBLE.

I bought shoelaces so I can’t vouch for shoe repair but the proprietor seemed like a decent guy.

Brought easy repairs a couple times over the 12 years I’ve lived in the neighborhood. I’m always disappointed. They have no passion, especially the son. They are very poor with women's shoes. It’s sad. Just don’t.

The dad is not the most friendly person but ok. The son never smiles, seems to be annoyed when you ask him something, and screwed up fixing my wife’s shoes 2 of the 3 times I brought him her shoes for polishing/fixing.Need to do better with customer service to keep a small business afloat.

little mom and pop type shop, friendly and interesting folks. did an amazing job re-soling my fave portuguese leather boots. 50$ felt expensive at the time but when i got them back it was well worth it- excellent workmanship, quality materials. the guy refused to resole a pair of shoes i had also brought, because it would cost more than the shoes were worth. you need to let these go" he said. ha! definitely recommend this place. my friend got her boots re-heeled and they even dyed the top of the heel so it would match perfectly. seamless. i'm taking another pair of boots to get a grippier sole. totally trust these guys."

I’ve brought 3 pairs of shoes here and each time they tell me it can’t be repaired.When I bring them to another repair shop, they repair them no problem….I don’t understand - a shoe repair shop that doesn’t want to repair shoes?It’s a shame it’s right next to my house and I have to drive elsewhere !

I've gotten heels on a few pairs of boots and shoes repaired. Very nicely done. Simple to arrive and drop off my shoes. Very quick and simple for pick up.Just be aware that they only take cash. But there is bank on the corner if you need.Each time they tell me to pick up my shoes in about 5 days, which I think is very reasonable. I know what I ask for is very simple and quick for them to do.Reading the other reviews, I think sometimes we forget it's actual human beings doing work (something we're sadly no longer used to). Real humans doing their craft well, with care, takes more time than a machine or an exploited warehouse worker.

Awful customer service, super slow work, i tookONE boot with a broken zipper to fix, the girl at the counter told me it would be ready for friday and i told her i would go saturday whichi couldnt do because i work, so i call to know if its ready and the guy that answered told me he has no time to be at the phone to answer my question about one boot, and that he will not do the job anymore, and i had already paid, when i asked about my refund he said he dont know if he will refund me!!! thieves! Do Not go here, i couldof gone to another place and have that already fixed without the awful attitude

Very bad customer service from the owner. we went in asking for a sandal repair - after having looked and poked on the sandal leaving it completely broken, worst than it was, he said he couldn't fix it. we argued and he finally agreed to apply a bit of glue on the part that he broke and told us to leave. Awful experience and we will NEVER go there again
