Been training here for 8 years. Absolutely fantastic place, very clean, great people, and a great environment for learning Martial Arts and many other life skills. I started in the kid's classes and now I'm in the adult ones, and both are very well structured and organized.

My son has been training at UFMA for over 4 years. I got goose bumps when he recites the values all memorized and with confidence. We added weapon lesson last year and regret that we didn’t start early and missed out so much fun and horizon opening new experience… would recommend kids for sure. Even just listen to the lessons of the day discussion ( short verbal part of the session) makes you feel you are in the positive vibe overflow and so much hope in everything….below is the 2021 Halloween party long line up with health measures reinforced. My son Loves UFMA. He has been involved in several sports and clubs and this has been by far his best experience . He loves going and wants to go everyday.. Paul is very positive with the kids and makes it fun. Thank You Paul and staff for making MJ’s experience awesome

My son has been attending for two years. I love how he comes alive during the class. He loves it! Mr Garant creates an amazing atmosphere of both fun and discipline. He has such an incredible kindness towards and a deep understanding of kids. This helps make the class the perfect experience for them. My son has learned to more carefully pay attention - even his teachers have noticed. And I love that each week they have a relevant lesson they talk about during the class. They cover topics like screen time, sleep, kindness to strangers, and homework. It's incredibly valuable and had sparked many discussions at home. Attending karate at United Family Martial Arts has been a very positive growth experience for our whole family.

We enrolled our kids to this karate program this past October without knowing exactly what to expect, so far we have been pleasantly surprise with the amazing development they have had. It is a great program that focuses on teaching the students confidence, discipline and self-defense with a very positive outlook. The instructor, Mr Garant is great, he is strict but patient at the same time, who motivates the students and praises them for the accomplishment. Definitely not representative of how many of the other parents/patrons feel.We’ve enrolled both my kids here for several years now - and they love it here.We took a pause during the pandemic. We were given very fair and clear terms. We got credit for the months in lockdown and for when we paused.The owner has been super flexible and reasonable. And super accommodating and reasonable with our needs. We just re-enrolled both kids.We have only known the owner to be 100% reasonable and fair.We would 100% recommend this place to our family and friends.Safe, clean and well lit. We began this journey with Gabby at United Family Martial Arts in mississauga in September of 2019 when Gabby was just 2 years and 10 months old. At first she wouldnt sit still and would be seen rolling around on the floor or doing something she wasnt supposed to be doing. Mr Garant her sensei, would just stop and redirect her, never losing his patience, never embarassed her and was never disappointed In her. When i would apologize, he would reassure me that this is normal and that she would get better. He was right! She is going for her green stripe belt this weekend and will be moved to the big kids class" early for her age this coming September.Mr Garant is kind and very patient. My daughter absolutely loves UFMA; she started just over a year ago and goes almost every day! The instructor is kind and patient with a great sense of humour. He keeps the kids engaged and motivated. We highly recommend!
