Shealyn was absolutely wonderful to work with over the course of our pre-wedding year. She assisted us with her full-service wedding planning package and we couldn’t have been happier. Right from the beginning, Shea was always honest and upfront with us, keeping us organized and on track with all the details big and small. Choosing vendors was easy because of Shea's experience and knowledge. She listened to us and presented tailored options that were just right based on our wants and needs. Not only does Shea do an incredible number of weddings, but this year she also had a baby, and no word of a lie her attention to us and our wedding didn't falter one bit. Shay made our day incredible. She went above and beyond with every step and her vision transformed what we wanted into something spectacular. I had the pleasure of working with Shealyn Angus Weddings and Events over the last year as I planned my large, downtown Toronto wedding.As a critical care nurse in the middle of a pandemic trying to finish a PhD and with a partner who also works full-time I did not think it would be possible to plan the wedding we hoped for. Shea was such a pleasure to work with for the year leading up to our wedding! She's organized, creative, detail-oriented, knowledgeable about the industry, and kept us on track each step of the way. Upon a recommendation from a colleague, I met with her and hired her that day for full-service planning for our September 2016 wedding, and she was absolutely integral to planning every step of the way. My husband and I have hectic work schedules that would not permit us to take personal time to plan a wedding, and we needed someone we could rely on completely to bring our vision of an incredibly chic Toronto wedding to life. Whether it be directing us to the best vendors, liaising with them and our venue on our behalf, designing the elegant decor, look and feel of the wedding and presenting it to us in a clear, detailed way, sending us to-do lists, reminders and monthly countdowns, attending our food tasting and making brilliant suggestions that only a pro could, helping us stay on budget, or even arranging our Snapchat filter at the last moment, having her by our side made everything easy. She is very knowledgeable about current and coming wedding trends and has a great eye for stunning, fashion-forward decor. On top of that, she made the day-of a dream, helping me navigate the day, not get overwhelmed, be where I needed to be, made us stay hydrated and allowed us not to worry about anything so that we could just celebrate and revel in the most spectacular day we've ever experienced. She is, as far as I am concerned, the best in the business.

We could not have imagined our wedding day without Shea! Planning a wedding is a very overwhelming and scary thought at first, but it took you one initial consultation with my husband and I to turn all of our dreams and wishes for our ceremony & reception into a reality. Your impeccable taste, connections in the industry and attention to detail made our wedding planning experience fun and our wedding day one we will never forget.From the beginning – exploring venues, booking vendors and sticking to our timeline; Shea was nothing short of amazing reaching out to EVERYONE for us. She set up every meeting we had, and would tell us where to be and what time. She followed up with reminders as to any last minute things we had to do; invoices to pay, loose ends to tie up and there was even a 10% chance of rain on our wedding day so she even picked up emergency umbrellas for the entire bridal party!!! Shea gave us the wedding our dreams!!! Shea is the most thoughtful, kind, creative, flexible, and detail oriented wedding designer a couple could ever hope for. Myself and my partner felt seen, heard and taken care of throughout the whole process.
