Bought GALLO Extra Virgin Olive Oil. I constantly use it in my home. Made salad last night and put a little bit in my salad. The taste was horrible. First I though it was from the salad, but then I tested the oil on its own and had a very bitter and burning taste. After that my stomach hurt so bad, I had to lay down and take few pills. The expire date is October 2021. At this point I think its a health issue and should be a recall.

bought a can of diced tomatoes. threw half the can out as it was nothing but heels and butts of the tomato and skins. worst quality i have seen in canned tomatoes. Primo was a close second. will not be buying either of these products again

I love the products but what I really hate is try to open your 3L oil. Having to use a knife to put through is also hard due to you can’t see we’re to separate the lid. If you try to twist it open well it just keeps on Turing and nothing happens. Hurt myself to many time that I needed to write a review. You need to fix it. I can imagine the seniors trying to open it.

I always buy Unico solid light tuna, it is so good, been buying only this tuna for many years. Would recommend for everyone to try it. The best tuna for sandwiches.

Crunchy Raw!A few weeks ago I bought 8 cans of Unico Chick Peas. I expected them to be cooked and ready to be added to a salad or in soup. However these chickpeas were crunchy (kind of raw). All of the cans were from the same date/batch and they were all crunchy. If I have to boil canned chick peas then I might as well buy the dry version and cook them from scratch. What a disappointment!

I bought two jars of sliced kalmata olives. The jar's lids never popped when i opened them. Indicating they had not been sealed properly during packing. They are disgusting and unusually dark purple. I either have to return them to the store or throw them out. This is not the first time I've had quality issues with this brand. I will be looking for alternative brands going forward .

I bought and prepared their chick peas only to find out that there were 5 pieces of metal in the can. It looked like soldering iron remnants. The size of the pieces varied from 12 mm to 2 mm.I will not be buying this brand ever again and I suggest other customers to be aware too.

They're Pickled Pepperoncini quality and Flavour has dropped significantly. It's from a different source and doesn't taste as good as the previous vendor they were using. It's garbage quality and Flavour now what a shame. It was never from Turkey and Turkey is known to product top shelf fine goods but it seems like they went with a very bad vendor in this case surprisingly. Let's not be fooled Most of Unicos goods are very low end low quality products but some things are decent and a classic staple like the Pepperoncini used to be but now they are terrible

Bought 2 boxes of Lancia oven ready lasagna noodles last week at Superstore in Grimsby. Sadly 1 box was full of bits and pieces. I have pics.
