I feel awkward writing this review amongst all the 5 star ones, but I didn’t have the greatest experience here. I was told that this Dr. Sunny charges more than other orthodontists because he wants to have more time for them. Well, during most of my interactions with Dr. Sunny, it seemed like he couldn’t wait to get away and move to his next patient. He didn’t come across that way when I heard him talking with other patients. I recall one time when he and the dental assistant sarcastically talked about my teeth like I wasn’t there. I always dreaded coming in for appointments. I started feeling a lot more comfortable when Dr. Kim came along. He was very friendly. Most of the dental assistants were also very abrupt. Joanne in particular often seemed like I annoyed her. I am, however, happy with how my teeth turned out.

Dr.Sunny and his staff are amazing! I just completed my treatment and I’m so happy with my results. Dr.Sunny is so amazingly patient and understanding to needs. He takes his time and makes sure that the end results are amazing. The staff is also great. Thank you Dr.Sunny and team for being so great!

Great experience with all orthodontists and staff! Staff was very caring and kind while working efficiently. My Invisalign experience was a quick and smooth process all thanks to those at Expressions!

I’m just really disappointed. We lived in Fort Saskatchewan when we were referred to this Ortho clinic and although my son hadn’t received his braces before we moved out of town, they had proved an entire treatment plan an therefore we stuck with them because they had done all of the work. We now live a one hour drive from the clinic so to come in, it’s a far drive.The first visit, they forgot to put an elastic on one of his brackets and the wire kept falling out (daily). I called in and they said to come back and I explained we now lived an hour away and it’s extremely difficult to just “come back”. I was under the impression that they would do everything required the first time… Missing the most integral piece of keeping the wire in the bracket seems neglectful.After this, my insurance didn’t go through because they had submitted everything with our old address even though when I signed all of our papers, I had written our new address on ALL OF the sheets as well as had them update the system. If you’ve ever signed up for braces treatment, this is a lot of papers. Apparently I was unclear.The second visit, we had just gotten home and my son (after eating ramen) says “what’s this loose thing?)… An entire bracket had fallen off at the back of his mouth. I’m now certain they didn’t ensure to check if the brackets were solid at the check up. A bracket doesn’t just fall off, specially when he was just eating ramen.We booked our latest appointment on a weekend so no one had to take time off work and our son didn’t have to miss school and here we are now stuck missing work and school because of ill practices. If you have the time and flexibility to be at the orthodontist every day because they’ve missed something, this clinic is definitely for you!

Dr. Sunny is a true professional. I was having a problem with some work done at another clinic long ago, the were able to fit me in quickly and gave me lots of time and extra attention to make sure my bite felt just right after.I definitely feel the value of the service was the little bit of extra time to go above and beyond and make me feel value and important. There wasn't a rush to get my through, there was a genuine approach to make sure my procedure was handled perfectly. I appreciated that a lot.
