This clinic is awesome everytime I have a appointment I never wait that long and doctor Rochelle Van De Velde is great always kind and listen to my concerns.Shes been my doctor for many years and I will not ever need a new one She's the best Doctor.

Dr. Silver is amazing and his staff is fantastic! I saw several Dermatologists to no avail before being referred to Dr. Silver. I have gone from abysmal to totally clear skin for nearly 2 years now. I am grateful. I seldom have to wait but if I do I consider it a small cost for seeing the best Dermatologist in the city

This is my experience with Dr. Shane Silver over many years:His old office used to be downtown. Long story short, he gave me wrong instructions and I proceeded to waste countless days for over a year of my time without any message or information letting me know I wasn't using the correct procedure for my situation.They waited until I visited the office 1 year later to ask me why I wasn't doing the procedure correctly, even though I had been sending them updates MONTHLY. They didn't even bother to call when they noticed something was wrong. As a result my treatment was halted by 1 year. I finally started it and ended it happily 6-8 months later.He's a good doctor in that he is knowledgeable and can operate on moles/other surgeries well. But he can (in my case he did) give incorrect instructions and will NOT follow up. He never recognized his mistake and prolonged my treatment.He is constantly booked and I waited 6-7 months to see him the first time. I'm assuming the same old boomers keep rebooking with him always causing him to be full. Chances are that you will take months to get an appointment with him too. Your best bet is to see another doctor within Academy Skin Centre or search elsewhere. I did and have happily gotten treatment with a doctor I have confidence in and can trust. Oh yeah, and be prepared to wait another hour behind schedule as it's very common with him.tldr; Dr. Shane Silver is overbooked and gave me wrong instructions. Good surgeon who's knowledgeable but gives instruction poorly or in my case incorrectly.

I cannot speak highly enough about my initial appointment with Dr. Rochelle Van De Velde. After waiting 11 months for my appointment, I was worried that she would be rushed and in a hurry to get to her next patient. This was anything but the case.She spent 40 minutes with me - heard my story and my concerns, explained her thoughts and conclusion clearly, left time for questions and answers. People talk about Doctors having the best interest of patients" in mind and Dr. VDV has made me believe that.If you can get in with Academy Skin

I don't give any stars, in fact I'm extremely disappointed and irritated with this clinic. I saw that the email with the appointment did not have a reply and when I called the clinic, I heard a message saying that the system was not available for assistance, I left a clear message to contact me, no one returned. I called again in the afternoon of the same day and an attendant answered very rudely and asked to wait, I was waiting on the call for 2 and a half minutes and hung up. 3 days later I decided to go to the clinic because I only saw this as a solution to talk to them. upon arrival, the attendant said that I had no appointment scheduled, I showed the email that the clinic sent and she said that my appointment had been cancelled, I was speechless because I never asked to cancel. bad service, service

Seem very educated in their profession, place is clean and masks are required.

One of the best clinics I have been to. Dr. VAN DE VELDE and front desk staff are all very friendly and efficient. Dr. VAN DE VELDE even took care of some little thing that was not part of my fam doc's referral, instead of having me make another appointment. We need more doctors like her who's goal is to take care good care of their patients!
