Went here to grab some coffee on a Saturday morning and ended up staying for brunch. There was a wait of 20 minutes before getting a table. The inside looked great, loved the high ceiling, the windows upstairs, and it was busy, so it made a great atmosphere. We waited for a long time for our food to arrive and after having a lot of anticipation it was very disappointing.The tastes were just bland, and everything tasted very just okay. There was nothing special anywhere in either of our dishes. We got the Greek sausage dish and the lamb bistro on toast , both on the brunch menu.I have to say that our server was absolutely amazing, very kind, and helpful the whole time. We enjoyed the atmosphere and loved our server, but we were very disappointed with the mediocre food and drinks as we had a lot of expectations.

I quite enjoyed this place for brunch. Even though I ordered simple brunch food, everything was cooked very well and the quality of food was great.I was especially impressed by the variety and amount of fruit that they gave us when I ordered a side of fruit. Judging by the presentation of everything, you can tell that there is effort out into every dish. I would definitely come back.

They either need more natural light or get better lighting. I mean, it was fine, but it just wasn’t anything special. Burger and service was great though! From the time I sat down, ordered, got served my food, ate, and paid the bill, it was around 25min! Nice and quick! And no I did not rush eating. I would come back here!PALATE BURGER $22Beef patty, fried egg, sautéed mushrooms, caramelized onion, roasted tomato, alfalfa sprouts, cheddar and emmental cheese, house sauces on a brioche bun. This was a pretty damn good burger!8.8/10

Came here the celebrate late Mothers day for me. The flavors of the dishes were really good and all but.....the bread that came with my salmon egg bennies was solid rock hard. I guess it was stale. I did tell our friendly server and she said she'll let the kitchen staff know but nothing happened after. Otherwise my husband and kid enjoyed their food.

We were pleasantly surprised to see the tall ceiling, bright and modern interiors when we entered this place. The front section is for counter service with pre-made sandwiches and coffee. All the tables beyond the hostess station is for the restaurant menu. The restaurant menu includes breakfast items, sandwiches. and salads. They also offer high tea which is reservation only. In fact, we saw quite a number of triple deck high-tea towers being served while we were there. I enjoy the space a lot even though it is very 'live' due to lack of soft wall decorations. We both ordered the full breakfast. Even though the breakfast was served on iron plates, they did not take advantage of the heat-retention properties of the plate. So, our food became cold very fast because the table tops are stone cold. I must remember to request a heated plate next. time. The service was excellent. Yes, there will be a next time.

Great Saturday brunch location. Reservations are definitely recommended but I lucked out and got a table without a wait.Enjoyed the Eggs Benedict with mushrooms and a side of roast potatoes. The food was all well seasoned, and the poached eggs were perfect.I'll definitely come back to try some of the other options!

Yum! Had a really delicious brunch here. The food is excellent and the menu has a lot of really interesting choices. I liked all the variety. The service was really good, the staff is really nice and the atmosphere is great. All-around really good experience. I’d like to go back and try their lunch and dinner menu as I suspect it will be equally delicious. Definitely recommend checking this place out.

This is somewhere in my husband and I have been wanting to try when in downtown Vancouver. It did not disappoint. Our cappuccinos were excellent. We also sampled a butter croissant and a mini hot cake with mascarpone cream and praline crunch. It was delicious perfectly prepared. We love the decor in this heritage building. Plenty of comfortable seating upstairs and down there. Also, there’s an area just inside the entrance for espresso beverages and baked goods to go. Service was also very good, prompt and polite.
