Definitely a great quality place for rehabilitation of multiple sorts

I have had the pleasure of experiencing some of the wonderful fundraising events that URSA puts on each year, and I have always been blown away. Their Brain Art program is one of my absolute favourites, this is an amazing program that offers so many opportunities for the participants to explore their creative side, as well as express their emotions in a new way. It truly is a wonderful program that everyone should know about. My house is full of beautiful artwork made by wonderful people. I have heard first hand of the great things this program has done for the people who participate in it and I am so happy to be able to support them.

I think we are lucky to have an organization like URSA right here in town. I have been to some of their events and have toured Easy Street and WOW is all I can say. This is an amazing facility that offers so much to the people who need it. Something that you and I can do without thought may be impossible to some, this facility offers them the chance to explore and understand real world situations. This really is a life changing facility that is run by people who really care. I am so proud to say I know of and support this great organization. I can’t wait to see what wonderful things they do in the future.

Great environment with excellent staffing for rehabilitation of People with developmental disabilities and brain injuries

Someone bought my daughters Indigeous art. I'd like to buy it back please, it may be all that's left of her...URSAs newest CubHouse is running like a residential school. 2/3 of the current families agree with this statement.This place has a high turn over. Once staff realizes their work environment is amazingly toxic, they have been dropping like flies and quitting.Children have been forced to relieve their bodily fluids in shared dining spaces. No one saw a problem until a parent mentioned how dehumanizing this kind of treatment is.One child has never had a haircut their entire life (due to culture) so they are naturally expected to have long healthy hair.Cub House staff consistently rip hair ties out carelessly, where the child has visibly ripped and damaged hair that is not nearly as long as it should be.Children have been fed spring rolls as early as breakfast and staff will lie to Dieticians at The Alberta Childrens Hospital during regular appointments.This home is for Indigenous Children only, which is technically modern day residential school for the medically complex.APTN has been advised!

They do a wonderful job with our handicaped son.
