Shiri's Kitchen is a must-visit for anyone looking for delicious and authentic Indian Hyderabadi cuisine in Lexington, Waterloo. As soon as you step into the restaurant, you are greeted by the warm and welcoming atmosphere, which is a reflection of the family-owned and operated business.We had the pleasure of trying several dishes during our visit, and each one was better than the last. The Idly and Medhu vada were the perfect start to our meal - light, fluffy, and flavorful. The Spring Masala Dosa was also excellent, with a crispy exterior and a delicious potato filling.However, the star dish of the meal was undoubtedly the Szechuan Chicken Dosa. This unique twist on a classic Indian dish was an explosion of flavors in every bite. The dosa was perfectly crispy, and the chicken filling had just the right amount of spice. The coconut and tomato chutney served with the dosa complemented the dish perfectly, adding a refreshing and tangy element to the meal.The biryanis were also outstanding - the chicken, mutton, and veg options were all flavorful and cooked to perfection. The masala tea was the perfect way to end the meal, with a warm and comforting blend of spices.Overall, Shiri's Kitchen exceeded our expectations. The food was delicious, the prices were reasonable, and the service was excellent. We left feeling satisfied and eager to return. Went there today and had the privilege of having authentic hyderabadi dum biryani , absolutely delicious, best idly that you ask for, tandoori chicken was soo juicy and flavourful, possible best vada and the chutnies are to die for. Would recommend 10/10, cant wait to go again.

Hidden away from the rush of the town, the store presents a calm atmosphere. Went here for tea which was really awesome. True Indian masala tea. Will be visiting again for sure as they have my attention.

I have tried other places in kw but couldn’t find authentic Hyderabadi biryani anywhere but finally found it at Shiris kitchen. Loved the biryani here and South Indian dosas and loved the fresh idlis. Totally worth the money do try it out guys and the owner and his family is super kind and friendly. Forever favorite ❤️

What a great experience with the taste of food being authentic. Dosa, Medu vada, Idli was so good. Even their chiken 65 and biryani were nice. A definitely revisiting type place.

Visited recently on recommendation from a friend. Wow what amazing food! Best mutton and chicken biryani that we had after we left India couple of months ago. True and authentic Hyderabadi Dum Mutton/Chicken biryani. The spice level was medium, just the right balance of taste and flavour. The tiffins are also scrumptious. Had Idly and Wada.I am elated to find Hyderabadi/Telugu food near to me. Met the owner Muralidhar Reddy, such a nice and polite gentleman. This is the original home cooked food in any Telugu kitchen. Will be back on regular basis. Really delighted to find such amazing Telugu food so close to me.

The owner is the sweetest and a really humble man, and whoever is making that home-tasting food at the back, in the kitchen, has a taste like how my mom cooks. I went two days in a row and told everyone about it at my work!I will come back here because it makes me feel like I am at my home in Delhi.
