Academics PreKindergarten YVR

My 4 years old daughter started her daycare life with Academics Prekindergarten. They offer great programs and healthy meals, the teachers are super nice and I am glad that my little one enjoys her school time everyday. Being one of the parents and experienced how great the brand is, here me and my partners together joined the APK team and would love to bring quality childcare service to this community.

I think they did a pretty good job to maintain a safe and clean facility for our kids during covid, all the people in the buliding are wearing masks and there are hand sanitizers everywhere.Facility tour to new parents are also moved to online sessions. Overall, I really appericate their efforts to take care my kid so I can balance between work and family during this challenging period.

Good to know that APK is opening a new location in Richmond community! My daughter has been with their Vancouver location for over a year since she was a baby and she has been taken really good care of. I am so grateful to be part of such a welcoming and inclusive early learning community. The teachers are so supportive and passionate. They really care about children's safety, emotional, physical and academic growth. I also like the daily reports, daily fun photos as well as the camera app so that I can keep track of my daughter's growth. With the monthly theme curriculum in math, science, arts and crafts, learning is really meaningful for the little ones. Overall, it is great early learning experience for my daughter and for me as parent and I highly recommend.

Last day of school for 2021, really glad YVR academics prekindergarten still opens for my kid during the holiday season, especially with such snow and cold weather. This definitely opens more options for parents who still need to work or busy. Many thanks to all the hardworking staffs to support us and take care of our little ones during this challenge time. Seems my little one was having a fun painting day. She really enjoyed all the classes here, they are all well designed and engaging, especially the painting class, which is her favorite now. With teacher's patience, guidance and encouragement, my daughter enhanced her interest and painting skill quickly. Now I believe she has a sense of art, just like me ;) We are setting up a separated room as her art studio and believe she will soon make it messy"."

We moved back from Toronto last year in October 2021. We started our now 3.5 toddler at Academics PreK in May 2022. We are so glad and happy that we chose this school. Everything from the teachers, quality of education to the facilities are exceptional. Every single one of the staff at this school truly cares about the children and takes pride in their excellent work. I have so much good things to say about this school and can keep on going with this review but I think I’ve shared enough reasons why parents should enrol their children at this school.

We moved from Toronto to Vancouver last year with our 11 months old baby girl and 4 year old boy.  We live in Vancouver South, and we have visited probably10 different places. Most of them were in-home daycares, some had a license and some were not required (LNR). They all had infant availability. In the end, we chose Academics Prekindergarten YVR, which was a bigger operation, with 6 locations. They provided food and 2 snacks.It was a little more expensive than the others but I found there was huge value in everything they provided so I didn’t mind paying for it. They also had a camera system in place, along with an app, so I could pop in throughout the day & see how both my children were doing. I was also able to provide the camera details to our families in Toronto as well . It enabled them to feel part of our children's daily life as well.My wife and our family loved Apk daycare,they learned so much there and loved going every day.

Our studio was invited to do pre-opening photography for this brand-new facility. As soon as we step in, the spacious interior and the attention to detail strongly impressed us. Each room has huge windows with the view to the river and greens, all the decors and facilities are well-designed to meet the Academics Prekindergarten’s education concepts. The outdoor patios are securely fenced featuring high quality artificial grass with falling protection as well as various toys for different activities. Together with all the nice staffs and teachers, I believe all the kids will have a wonderful time here.

Academics prekindergarten is a wonderful daycare. Their unique learning model helps prepare your kids for kindergarten. I am so happy they opened another location in the lower mainland! My son attended academics prekindergarten when he was between 1-2 years old. If we didn’t find a daycare closer to home, my son would have stayed there until he was 5.I have known the director at the YVR location for many years. Her background is in education and she has both her ECE and infant/toddler/specials needs certificate. She is friendly and very knowledgeable, so your kids are in good hand.I would recommend this location to anyone out there looking for quality childcare.

My daughter has been to Academics Prekindergarten at White Rock Location for almost 3 years. She loves the daycare and really enjoy the daily activities. I think they have great curriculums and activities. My daughter learns new things everyday. I’m really glad they opened new location at Richmond YVR! Many of my friends live in Richmond have been looking for daycare for their kids. I highly recommend this daycare.
