Just returned from our wine experience created by Into the vineyard. From the first conversation with Collin I knew we would be in good hands. We were met by a driver and tour guide at every point. Pick ups to and from the airports and train stations as well as everywhere in between. France was magical! The chateaus of Bordeaux to the expansive vineyards of Burgundy we ate and drank our way to-the best educational experience involving wine making no university could match! Thank you to Collin, Laura, Alexander who interrupted his vacation to make sure we were met at the station, to all the drivers and tour guides we met, Dorin, Frederic and Stephanie. Thank you all for an unforgettable experience. We highly recommend this company!

We just had an amazing trip to France/Spain to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. I want to thank Into the Vineyard as they picked wonderful spots for us to stay along with some amazing adventures.We did Paris, Bordeaux, and San Sebastian. As someone who hasn't been to Europe since I was a early teenager, it was really hard to narrow down where to go. Colin heard our desires and was able to point us in the right direction so that we could enjoy the experience without being constantly on the move. The part I really apprecieated was that we wanted wine activities, primarily in Bordeaux, but had enough experience to plan non-wine activities for us in the other cities, such as a Tapas tour and a cheese/barkery/chocolate tour.The hotels were located beautifully so we could walk to the lively areas, and each hotel had its own little spice, such as a cool hotel in Paris and a more luxury hotel on the water in San Sebastian.I was a little skeptical using a third party to plan things as I have never used a travel agent. However, I was overwhelmed with planning and life at home was getting busy. Do not regret the decision. Everything went without a hitch and all we had to do was give them some general ideas of what kind of fun we were looking to have and a budget. They did the heavy lifting. I would use this group again when booking my next trip abroad.

Hands down, the trip of a lifetime! My husband and I booked a two-week trip to France with Into the Vineyard, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Colin worked closely with us to understand our preferences before the trip and then custom-curated our itinerary based on that. Everywhere we went was absolutely amazing, and the fact all of the researching, planning, and booking was done for us alleviated a lot of stress.Every guide, driver, and staff member of Into the Vineyard that we encountered really went out of their way to ensure that we had a fantastic experience—the level of customer service was some of the best we have ever received. The trip was fun and incredibly informative – we learned so much about the various regions, the terroir, and how each chateau and winemaker approached winemaking. There were so many highlights of the trip, but a few included our stay at Chateau Mercues (a castle built in the 13th century) along with dinner at their Michelin restaurant, and meeting the winemaker of Clos de Caveau in Vacqueyras and talking with him about his wines.This was definitely not a trip we could have planned ourselves – we were extremely happy with the itinerary and areas/wineries that were selected and don't think we would have done anything differently, knowing what we know now. Thanks to Colin and team for everything!

Into the Vineyard helped us plan a fabulous trip to Scotland. They arranged for excellent drivers, fabulous hotels, wonderful restaurants, exceptional excursions. We were so thrilled with our trip. It was truly perfect. The team at Into the Vineyard listen carefully and execute well; they provided more than we imagined possible. We will be counting on them for all of our future trips.

Paolo and Simonet put together a 5 day trip tasting wines in Mendoza. The trip they put together exactly matched the criteria we gave them. They kept us informed all along the way with complete and professional information. When we arrived, their team on the ground met us and guided us for the entire time. The accommodations they selected were spectacular; the wineries were wonderful. They made changes in the itinerary on the fly to better match our tastes. And when illness required some revisions they were able to provide alternate transportation smoothly. I can't say enough good things about Into The Vineyard and their team. I plan to book with them again.

My wife and I had the pleasure of visiting France this past June. Morgan planned a great trip. I told her what we wanted to do and she provided us a seamlessly wonderful experience. Our trip started in Paris and then we moved onto Bordeaux where we had a wonderful winetasting experience. After Bordeaux our driver took us to Cahors where we had a magnificent stay at one of the Ancient castles. Next, it was on to Marseille for some Mediterranean R&R. Our final stop before heading back to Paris was a few nights in Beaune. Where we fell in love with the wines of burgundy. I would recommend Into the Vineyard to anyone who wants to have a fantastic experience without all of the personal planning. Morgan was friendly and knowledgeable. I continue to rave about her pristine personality, professionalism, or perfect trip she planned for us. Thanks again Morgan. Already thinking about the next excursion

This review is long overdue, but I have been struggling to capture in words how wonderful our experience with Into the Vineyard was.My husband and I started working with Colin and his team in the summer of 2019 to plan our honeymoon for May of 2020, but due to Covid did not get to actually go on the trip until May of 2022 and it was well worth the wait!All during the waiting process Colin went out of his way to minimize the impact and make us feel special. We went out to dinner on one anniversary and I mentioned trying and loving Abadía da Cova Galician Cream Liqueur. Next thing I knew, a bottle arrived in the mail. Colin also worked hard to minimize the additional out-of-pocket expenses even though we had opted not to take out insurance.When we finally got to go on the trip, it was beyond what we had envisioned. Colin really listened to our preferences and desires. The itinerary was the perfect balance of down time, wine tasting and exploring. We were introduced to many experiences and vineyards that we would never have found on our own and treated like family at each and every one, some of which are small producers and/or not easily available in the US. We ended up buying so much wine we had to purchase two wine suitcases that we had sent ahead to one of our hotels! I am currently working with one of the vineyards in Portugal to send us some more Aguardente Loureiro because we didn't buy enough.We had two main guides with very different personalities, but both absolutely amazing. They allowed us to relax and enjoy the trip while they took care of all transportation and scheduling details. This was a huge stress relief in general, but proved beyond invaluable when we accidentally left our passports in one of the hotel safes and didn't remember until we were about 2 hours away! Even our daily guides were memorable. It is clear that Into the Vineyard goes out of their way to research and work with the best locals.I do not drink dairy milk and Colin and his team made sure every single hotel was aware of this dietary restriction and went out of their way to accommodate it. Aside from this, we had one rule while we were on the trip and that was to try anything we were served. We ate some of the best food from local hole in the wall establishments to Michelin-star restaurants and everything in between!Even with the time difference the office was constantly available and responsive during the entire three weeks. We had one little snafu with a car service that was easily fixed after a quick email. Colin also continued to provide special little touches throughout the trip, including a surprise upgraded room and hotel in one city and a bottle of wine waiting in our room in a few other cities.When we started planning this trip we thought it would be a once in a lifetime thing. Now we are trying to figure out how we can save up money to go on another Into the Vineyard trip.

My Husband & I just returned from a 2 week trip planned by INTO THE VINEYARD.We visited family owned organic vineyards that were so special in the Loire Valley & Burgundy.One of our favorites was Domaine du Chene Arrault .....both Christophe & Sandrine welcomed us w/open arms ....drove us to see their vineyards in their classic car (Willy) & we tasted their wines in their private cave.The private caves in the Loire Valley were beyond our expectations....& a joy to see.Besides learning so much about the terroir & the details of making wine you can see how all of the winemakers are devoted to their craft.We drove from Loire to Burgundy & from Burgundy to Lyon & Colin highlighted small towns to visit as we traveled which we enjoyed so much.Colin's team gave us recommendations for restaurants @ every location & secured our train tkts from Lyon to Paris.This trip of a lifetime far exceeded our expectations.....The properties we stayed @ we loved & the guides were welcoming & had so much knowledge that they passed on to us.Thank-you to Colin & his team for this unforgettable trip

Absolutely fantastic. Colin and the entire team at Into the Vineyard are wonderful to deal with. Everyone involved from ITV were fully engaged and interested in making sure our trip was tailored to our interests and what each member of our family wanted to do. This began at our initial planning call and continued as the trip came together and lasted right up until we flew home. Our summary itinerary was chock full of detail so every planned activity was crystal clear. The ITV team is very familiar with Porto and the Douro valley, and can expertly recommend hotels, restaurants, sights to see, local guides to work with and where to have a quiet and relaxing afternoon or where to walk to best explore Porto. Every detail was attended to and local support was constant. A single driver helped our entire fairly with travel to and from all locations for our entire trip. We see the investment with ITV as a tremendous value. I can't imagine putting a price on the value of selecting the perfect hotels, or knowing the best quality restaurants which meet the needs of everyone in our group, or selecting local tours and guides which are of the highest quality. Essentially eliminating stress from our vacation.

Into the Vineyard was a top-notch travel planning experience. We took a 5 day wine tasting tour of Tuscany. Our itinerary was custom designed to our specific desires. Communication was clear throughout the process, and was surprisingly affordable. Our guide was absolutely fantastic! We made unforgettable memories and are looking forward to planning our next trip with Into the Vineyard!
