No heat in room. I Supplied an electric heater for the room which was a reasonable compromise, and would have been fine if it didn’t keep kicking out the breaker panel and killing power to the hotel room. After waiting 5-10 minutes without power, breaker can be reset (by myself) Moldings ripped off with toe catching nails sticking out.If the building wasn’t in such dire need of repair it would be a fantastic stay due to the staff members. Each of who had a great attitude, sense of pride in their work, and were happy to help me.

If you set your expectations right, it meets them. Small town bar (literally the only bar in town) with very friendly service - what more can you ask for? Didn’t stay in the rooms, but the bar was basic, clean, friendly - and a happy atmosphere.

Great little place. Nope, not fancy, but the beds are comfy, the people are friendly, and the price is terrific. Plus, the only bar in town is right downstairs!Stopped in on a motorbike trip, and Sonja (Sonia?) let us park our bikes under shelter against the building and helped us figure out the best way to dry our gear.Definitely will stop in again, highly recommended

This hotel was disgusting, the lobby smelled like cigarettes, dim lights made it feel like we were going to get murders. One of the doors was broken and had been broken into previously and there are bed bugs. Have tons of bites everywhere. for the love of God DO NOT STAY HERE

Don't expect anything too fancy, but staff is nice and rooms were clean. WiFi available but was a little spotty. Bar/food on main floor.

Rooms were the worst I’ve ever stayed in, overpriced, no maids to clean your rooms, bed had stains in it. Checked out a day early and wouldn’t refund us our money. The room keys literally open almost every door. The only positive thing was the caretaker was nice.

What you should expect from an authentic small town spot. Staff was friendly and quick to laugh, room was clean and cozy but nothing spectacular.The only bar in town is downstairs; we brought drinks up to our room to retire.Price was lower than big chain motels and it was nice to put money into more local businesses.

The two ladies that run this place were very friendly. The hotel is old, but the rooms are clean and the beds comfortable. McBride is a surprisingly nice town right in shadow of the Rockies.The only disadvantage is that the walls between the rooms are quite thin and you can hear very clearly what your neighbours are doing.

Power went out twice during the first 2 hours of our stay. Not the city power but the breaker in the hallway. Each time we had to wait for 5 min before we can reset the breaker switch. Unbelievable!!

Very primitive hotel. The service is barely existent and the rooms are outdated. It's an okay hotel to stay one night or two, but you shouldn't go any longer.
