I have been going here for quite some time now and absolutely love their service. Nargis is the girl to go to , she is always the best in what she does. If I could, I would give her 10 stars.

I have been going here for years and today I had the worst experience of my life. I get sat with a girl who I never have had, she doesn’t follow any of the procedures that are usually done. I now have eyebrows that are uneven and look like they are on 2 completely different spots of my forehead.I look like I’m perpetually doing a weird eyebrow swerve. If I could go into the negatives for stars I would, not to mention the customer service was lacklustre at best (saying the next one is on them after I had to talk to multiple managers) As an ex loyal supporter go somewhere else. Every time I do my eyebrows and wax with these two beautiful sisters Nargis and Husnia, they make me feel so special. They are so professional, kind and sweet. I would definitely recommend them both.

I have been going to kurves for a few years now and for a few months to nanaimo woodgrove mall location. My most recent experience dealing with new manager chhaya was terrible. I went in for upper lip and chin waxing and look at the picture to see what she did, my recommendation for everyone is not to deal with Chhaya, the lady was non apologetic when i showed her the marks right after the service.

Best place in Nanaimo for threading! I cannot say enough about Nargis - she does an amazing job every time! She’s extremely efficient, friendly, kind and very caring!

I had got waxing done on my face and was burned. The lady had told me to put nothing on my face when the best thing to do was to put polysporin after the burn. I had used retinal for a few days before going, but no one had verbalized this to me and the writing to sign off on before waxing was a lengthy document which you only had one signature at the end. I was shocked that when I went back, they told me the only compensation I could get was in-store credit for what I had paid for, and I couldn't just get my money reimbursed. After they had burned so much of my face! I was terrified for a whole week that my skin would be scarred, and it was during New Year's Eve when I had people coming over. My skin has fortunately healed except for a spot on my lip that I am treating with vitamin c. I was unhappy with how I was treated after being burned, and I don't even remember an apology. The only thing I was told was that I had a wax allergy and should have known that retinal can make your skin more sensitive. I do not have a wax allergy and after research found out that what I got is nothing close to what a wax allergy looks like. I should have received my money back and a proper apology. It was painful, I was scared of getting infections, and it left a mark on the side of my lip that I am still treating after over a month.

Due to Nargis I have always had a great experience at Kurves. She is a great professional, very detail oriented and does an excellent job with threading and wax. My mother and I have been her regular clients since last two years and she has always made our experience amazing.

I had the pleasure of having Charu as my esthetician for my waxing session today, and I must say, she did an outstanding job. Not only is she incredibly friendly and personable, but her expertise as a esthetician truly shines through. Despite having sensitive skin, Charu took great care and made the process almost painless, not to mention relaxing and enjoyable. I am sincerely grateful for her exceptional service. Thank you, Charu!

I would like to say Nargis is amazing at what she does, she is great asset to this company. Most times when I having my eyes brow wax, I can hear clients requesting her. Keep up the good job.
