Aberdeen Vet is THE BEST, hands down! You know it's time to switch vets when your more stressed going to the vet, then the darn cat is!They completely blew my expectations out of this world. The last vet wanted to pull all of my cats teeth quoting thousands of dollars. And no lab tests before surgery only during surgery. (We figure he is about 16 years old. I didn’t know much about his health records.) Aberdeen agreed and let me get lab tests before surgery. They day of the surgery, they were fabulous! They were so good with him. I’m NOT a trusting person however, I do trust Aberdeen Vet. I get compliments ALL the time on how awesome my cat looks. And that is completely due to Aberdeen’s Vet care/treatment/honesty.I got a puppy recently. So naturally, I’d give Aberdeen vet a call. Again, they blew my expectations. They showed me how to hold her to get her ready in-case they ever have to do blood work. (We very much appreciated that tip.) They were VERY careful & picky about what flea & tick medicine to give her. They only wanted to give her something that wasn’t harmful, and proven safe for her age.I will never be able to express how thankful I am for the team and the care they give.Thank you!

Aberdeen Veterinary Hospital found answers for my cat in 1 visit that another vet in town didn't find in 6 weeks. They helped my cat with a noninvasive approach until the only option left for her was surgery. they completed her surgery with kindness (and my cat was in pain so trust me she didn't show them the appreciation they deserved). And she's been healthy as a horse ever since :) we also got a puppy and have taken her there for all of her check ups and vaccinations and they have always been amazing with her to!

What a great experience! The facility was super clean, all staff were friendly and able to answer my questions. My dog was treated well. Prices were reasonable compared to other experiences in other provinces.

I was as nervous as my kitty for meeting a new vet. Walking into the reception area we were greeted, asked our names for the appointment. They were very kind. We met with Sarah (Vet) who immediately seemed to understand my cat. Spoke and treated him as I do. This put me at ease. She was awesome, very descriptive, informative, and helpful during and after my cat's exam. She was gentle when giving him a vaccine. She answered every question we had and taught us very much. We are very happy to have brought my cat here, and will return. (My cat did have a secondary ear infection possibly from the previous case of ear mites he had, we thought the ear mites were recurring. After the course of medication prescribed by the vet, he has fully recovered. The vet did call to check up between appointments to make sure things we going well.)TLDR: Highly recommend, gentle with cats, informative, kind with people. Average pricing. Cat is better after vet diagnosed/prescribed treatment.

Loves money more than animal care.My dog was a client. They couldn't see him when he was sick for a week because they were so busy" but when they were the 'vet on call' they could see him for an inflated rate that was higher than a regular appointment.Because of his sickness

Dr. Campbell and the entire team at Aberdeen veterinary hospital are incredible. From the way you are greeted upon arrival, to getting your pup a checkup, the entire process is friendly, compassionate, and professional. I feel like we are very well looked after and on top of that they regularly order and have medications on hand so you aren't waiting weeks for something your dog needs right away. We live far out of town they booked our girl fig for an xray at 8am.They kept our puppy in a little box all day while continuing to push it further in the day when they said come around 2 230 for our pup I tried to explain that we had a birthday party for my daughter and there delaying had wasted the time we had the secretary Jess promptly hung up on upon getting there yo retrieve my dog this Jess was very arrogant rude and belittling went to get my dog and the vet comes out literally choking my dog with how hard he is pulling her I told him people would hear about this and he said I look forward to it.Very uncaring unprofessional excuse for a caring vet clinic

I had my cat checked by Dr Mckelvey today and my experience here can't be better than ever! The whole team was very welcoming and calm which is important for nervous animals and their owners, also they are all professional, thorough and eager to help me and my cat. Definitely recommend this place!
