Campbell River Community Centre

Not sure how to rate a community center. I've been here for a number of events. There are numerous variously sized rooms for any size of a group. The bathrooms are spacious and clean. Well kept building. Centrally located right in the middle of downtown. There is always a schedule board downstairs by the registration office today had the days events on a white board.

Worth looking at the art work. Great building

Hosted a workshop for the day, staff were friendly, space and equipment was good.Only slight concern was fresh air or cooling, the space may be too warm if it was sunny and the blinds not closed.

Other than playing indoor soccer here a few times several years ago, and getting vaccinated for covid a couple weeks ago, I haven't really spent any time at the community center. Someone else could probably give a far more detailed review than me, lol.

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. This place is centrally located to Shoppers Row, and it offers a variety of events/programs that are available. If you are 50+, then you can partake in this group for a yearly membership fee for $25.00 where you can enjoy 30 free activities that have a volunteer leader. This membership is good for the Community Centre and Sportsplex. If other events stir an interest but you are not 50+ but are on the low end of income, look into obtaining a L.I.F.E. (Leisure Involvement for Everyone) card and you can do 52 walk-ins free and get 3 programs 50% off the actual cost.

They had very good equipments and varieties as well

Finished my entire Solo Cert here at Campbell River. The owners, coaches, and beautiful location make it the best place to skydive in Canada. Must visit.

The only time I've been there in a while! The last time was July 2016 for the Rotary Pancake breakfast!This time I was there, for my first shot of The Covid Vaccine!Thought it'd be busy, but was very quiet; there was one other person a head of me!The nurse asked a few questions, then sent me to another window; who then scanned my QR code for registration!Then sent down the line to another nurse, who also asked a bunch of questions; and which arm I wanted the injection!15mins later after sitting around to make sure there was no side effects!Back out into the beautiful weather!4 months from now, back for the second shot!But rumours going around!Could be a yearly thing like the flu shot
