I hired LD & A to spruce my house up and get it ready to sell. From exterior painting, facia repairs and replacing, ceiling texturizing and interior painting I couldn’t be happier. Everything went smoothly and on time. Thank you Neil and your team!

This is our second extensive renovation with LD&A. It was once again a pleasure to work with the entire team. From design to construction and completion, our project was executed perfectly. The design team was creative and innovative. They payed attention to our ideas and came up with both a beautiful and functional space. They were patient and always available to us. We couldn’t be happier with the design and appreciate the effort that went into it. The construction team was a pleasure to work with. Their attention to detail and unwillingness to compromise quality or take shortcuts ensure every corner of our home is perfect. In addition, they maintain a tidy work site at all time. They are genuinely kind people who took the time to chat with our kids and say hello to our dog. Their communication skills are superb and we were kept informed throughout the project. The design and construction team work seamlessly together to ensure project is executed correctly. We would highly recommend LD&A and would use again... although they have pretty much done our whole house already!

We used LD&A to gut and rebuild the main floor of a 50 year old house. Every step of this project was executed professionally and diligently. Lindsey was our senior designer and did an amazing job creating the floor plan we wanted while staying conscious of our budget and the house limitations. She also made sure every tile, cabinet and fixture in the house matched the ambiance we were going for. Daryl and Neil did a fantastic job coordinating the trades and ensuring that we weren't taking on the burden of organization. The communication throughout the project was very good, the LD&A team went above and beyond to make us feel in control and up-to-date.

This was our second project with Lynn Donaldson, the first was over 20 years ago. When we decided to renovate, there was no question that we would call Lynn again. Once again, we were totally impressed by LD&A's professional approach starting with the initial walk through to the final touches. Every detail was addressed up front, and every deficiency was corrected by the end of the project. Their concepts for design were thoughtful and always kept our needs in mind. LD&A crew showed up on time when scheduled. Because of the length of our project and the fact that we lived in our house through the project, Sean became like a member of the family. We found Sean to be an excellent craftsman, thoughtful to our needs, as well as efficient & tidy. The trades that were hired by LD&A are the best in their areas of expertise. LD&A's guidance through design and construction with practical solutions, the use of quality products, the supervision and excellent craftsmanship, provided us with a home that is comfortable, beautiful and was designed just for us. We are home and have spent several enjoyable weeks in our lovely finished home and wanted to thank you for a wonderful job.It was a pleasure working with all of you throughout the whole process and would highly recommend LD&A and your work to anyone. You and your staff and all the contractors we encountered were knowledgeable, competent and genuinely nice people. You always did what you said you were going to do and that is so important to us.We enjoyed the whole process - even the 2.0 part - as you walked and talked us through all the choices we needed to make to create this new space. The finished project is light and airy, much more functional and so welcoming for family and friends, which is exactly what we wanted.

Lynn Donaldson & Associates were our design-build team for a major renovation in 2012-13. They took our 1912 bungalow with loft back to stud, repaired the damaged foundation, and added a full second storey.I cannot say enough good things about the Lynn Donaldson team. The design team, the project manager, the site manager, and the tradespeople on site all did fantastic work, and the result is simply stunning. The engineer, architect, and sub-contractors they retained for us were also all truly excellent.A mere three months after we moved in, flooding in Calgary resulted in three feet of water in our basement. The Lynn Donaldson team went well beyond the call of duty in volunteering their time to help us and our neighbours with clean up. They have also patiently and expertly coordinated the repairs for us.We have complete confidence in Lynn Donaldson, have recommended them to friends and family, and will not hesitate to contact them for future work.

Extensive kitchen and main floor renovation - completed on-time and under the budget estimate.From start-to-finish, a textbook case of how a home renovation should go.Project Manager and on-site Supervisor were accessible, knowledgeable, understanding, and pro-active. The trades they hired were excellent - workmanship was first-rate, particularly the carpentry.Small hiccups" during the process were dealt with quickly and professionally..Would I use LD&A again? In a heartbeat.Would I recommend them? Absolutely."

We hired LD&A for a renovation of our existing kitchen and family room in our 1930s home. I've always heard that renovations can be one of life's biggest stressors and I can honestly say this was not the case with LD&A!! We were provided with a detailed budget and scope of work at the onset of the project so we had a good idea of what our costs were going to be and how the project would progress. I was extremely impressed with how well they stuck to the schedule provided. If there were changes that arose during the process, we were notified and required to approve the cost before they proceeded. The team was also great, when you have people in your house all day for extended periods of time it's nice to know they are respectful and responsible. I can't say enough good things about our site lead, Sean - he was fantastic. Super hard working, great attention to detail. My husband and I are very picky and we are really pleased with the level of craftsmanship of our millwork that LD&A fabricates in-house. We had a great experience working with LD&A - excellent craftmanship, super responsive: if there was an issue or question someone from the team always got back to us right away, organized and transparent on costs. Our home looks amazing, it's exactly what we envisioned and we look forward to enjoying it for many years to come.

Professional. The office is a great team to work with. Kate and Lindsay are an excellent design team who take the time to understand your preferances and what is important to you in your design. They have managed my husband's and I differences of opinion like pros. Their team of trades and suppliers are some of the best in the city.

LD&A built out a 6000 sf medical clinic for us at Innovative Sport Medicine. It was a complex renovation in an old building with lots of building restrictions. They handled all of the challenges and our clinic is absolutely beautiful, better than I could have imagined. They have a high attention to detail, came in right on budget, right on schedule, with timely communication. They have a really friendly team - everyone in design, trades, and their accounting department. I highly recommend LD&A for any residential or commercial project you may have. Neil and Darryl are the best!
