Ken from Big Event Entertainment made our entire wedding more fun and meaningful than we could have ever imagined. He played beautiful acoustic music when appropriate and ripped a gnarly harmonica solo to get the party really started leading into dancing. And most importantly, he’s just a really solid, honest, good man who cares deeply about giving you the best event he can and making it memorable and fun for everyone involved.If you have the chance to hire Ken, do it. Don’t even think twice. There’s NO ONE ELSE LIKE HIM IN THIS BUSINESS.

Ken was so great! I cannot recommend him enough. He was the DJ for our wedding. He curated the music for our ceremony, cocktail and reception. Such a pro. He took our suggestions/requests and matched our style with his own input. He was attentive to detail (volume etc). He was so professional and great to communicate with! Thank you Ken!

Ken was amazing. I wasn't very prompt on getting back to him for anything and he still came through with flying colours. I had so many compliments on how amazing his song choices were, his talent in singing and harmonica. The ceremony music, he cocktail hour music the dance music, everything was perfect, highly recommended

Wow ken is absolutely amazing. He absolutely wowed my husband and I at our wedding. Ken is more than just a DJ, he is full entertainment. At cocktail hour he played live music which afterwards so many guests told me they loved so much. Ken played guitar and sang and really provided a great atmosphere. During dinner he was even more amazing making dinner such a fun time. He was our MC which I highly recommend as he was entertaining and really helped keep the night organized. Guests twisted for the table centre pieces, Ken wowed us with the harmonica which was a hoot, brought out the kissing wheel which was so fun and helped organize a photo op with every table and a giant group shot with everyone after. The dancing music was also amazing. Ken played a great variety that really flowed through the night. Overall I would recommend Ken to everyone and anyone he is THEE choice for a wedding DJ

Ken was the DJ for our wedding last weekend and he did an incredible job. He sends a questionnaire and collects all the important information ahead of time. Our ceremony music was perfect, he was able to use the exact music from youtube that we wanted (he also offers live performances if you prefer). The cocktail hour live performances were fantastic and everyone really enjoyed it! Ken got the party started, read the room really well and kept the dance floor packed all night! He even took a video of my husband and I enjoying our last dance of the night and was happy to share it with us! Ken goes above and beyond and we would recommend him highly!

I used Big Event Entertainment for a 50th birthday party and Ken was fantastic!Ken began the night playing the guitar and singing and later moved to DJ’ing, along with some harmonica also thrown in. It was all amazing! Ken has a terrific voice and he got people up and dancing until the last song of the night. The dance floor wasn’t empty once. I found the variety a welcome and pleasant change from only having a DJ or only having a live singer the whole night.Ken is super accommodating and will work with what you want him to do. I also threw a few different things at him that I had planned for the guests and he was more than happy to roll with it.I will definitely be recommending Big Event Entertainment to others and/or be using them myself for any future events.

Ken completely outdid himself for our wedding! He was everything we imagined in a DJ/MC and more!! We were so happy with how easy he was to work with and how informative he was. He knows how to read a crowd and great at getting the party started! He's a very talented singer, guitarist and surprised us by playing the harmonica which was a definite crowd pleaser. Most of our guests pulled us aside to ask us where we found him because he impressed everyone! DJ Ken Lindsay was our DJ at our wedding this past weekend and we cannot recommend him enough! He sang our ceremony music live and sounded amazing. He played live during our cocktail hour as well and though we didn't hear him during this time, all of our guests were raving about him. Ken also MC'd for us and read the crowd perfectly, he's a lot of fun. During the dance he kept our dance floor packed from start to finish. Ken also has a Photo Booth which we used as our guestbook. We highly recommend Ken as your DJ for any event, you won't be disappointed.
