An excellent opportunity came to my attention.I had only days to prepare an online extensive application, a cover letter, and a fresh resumè..One of the staff members asked for a copy of my old resume I had on my phone..then, she asked me what changes are necessarily...where I was applying to make the language pertinent to that position..I left that with the worker, M.N., and I was provided a sheet with a cover letter format to follow..I went home and did the cover letter and the next day I stopped in to pick up a brand new resumè in hard copy and emailed to me for downloading onto my device.It went super.I actually delivered the whole completed package a full day before acceptance was closing.Whether I get the position or not, John Howard's really helped me prepare and send the very best I had to offer by way of cover letter, resume, and extensive application, the very best..John Howard's was there for me and worker, MN...I remain in humble gratitude for your wonderful, professional and warm guidance.

Great organization offering many types of classes and services

Went there to get help to find a job in early January but ended up moving to Toronto I called daneika and told her to close my file because I'm with another job agency and I will not be able to get help from the other agency, they had my file opened she wanted to know what's name of my new employer and so many personal questions which wasn't relevant I had to call back two days again because they didn't close my file I even had to go there because when they said it was closed it wasn't , when I got back to new agency they said I wasn't able to get all the help that I need because john howard society closed my file and put employed as if they were the ones who got the job for me, really bad i wouldn't be recommending anyone that I know to them, so people need to be aware that if your not satisfied with this entity and you go to another and get help quicker just tell them to close your file and don't ever let them know that you got a job or they will be putting employed when it wasn't them who helped to find the job and then you'l l loose all that your supposed to benefit from the new agency and they get the credit ,that's really bad.how can you state that im working when I'm not and it can be proven that I'm not .

I am 63 and looking for a p/t job.I made a appointment and 1 hour after walking thru the door I left with a updated resume.All staff I've encountered are polite, helpful making my time at JH a pleasant experience

They are there to help e everyone they are beautiful people to talk to and they inform you very well tooo very helpful thank you lady's.

They were very helpful in helping my daughter get her birth certificate.

Great place for safety if you are an addict, they are very helpful too, plus a lot of resources.

I called for some information and I left my phone number for someone to contact me and no one has contacted me me now 1 week ago and I am going to see how long it takes to get back to me
