Life is Beautiful Photography

Sandra stepped in as a very last-minute substitute photographer for our backyard elopement, yesterday, after our intended photographer wasn't feeling well (huge props to the original company - Woodgate Photography - for securing a back up plan so seamlessly). I haven't seen any of the photos yet... but, I can tell you that she was a joy to work with. Sandra arrived right on time and was very well organized. She made us, our baby and handful of guests feel totally comfortable. She improvised beautifully for the unpredictable weather (including a major downpour). We didn't feel judged for having a small and simple wedding. She felt like one of the close family members for the day. Highly recommend!

We have had the pleasure of working with Sandra for our engagement session, our wedding and now our maternity pictures! There aren't enough good things we could say about her. I did a mini session and it was great - photos were gorgeous and the organization of the session was great. I was guided into beautiful poses (and Sandra handled my high-energy dog really well)!

Sandra photographed our wedding celebration. We eloped in Australia and this was our reception with our Canadian family & friends.We started with family formals and some couple portraits, then she captured the first few hours of the party. Sandra was organised during the lead up to the day and always responded quickly to any questions I had.On the day, Sandra was easy to chat to and we felt comfortable in front of her camera. My husband is usually very camera shy but she made it easy for him to relax and look natural. She was also very open to any requests I had and got all the shots I was hoping for. Sandra is amazing!! She did our engagement photos and our wedding photos, and they could not have turned out better. We had won money off a package at a bridal show and so booked not really knowing her, and yet she made us so comfortable immediately! We really lucked out, when we chose Sandra to do our engagement photos. In the past I've never enjoyed having pictures taken, but Sandra immediately put us at ease with her friendly personality. She was great at making us laugh, so our photos came out looking natural (and so you'd never guess that we're usually awkward weirdos infront of the camera). From start to finish Sandra made our wedding day so much more! The photos she managed to get of the day was amazing and super relaxed, I'm obsessed with the candid photos....well obsessed with all of them really!On a personality level both Sandra and her husband Matt fit right in with our crowd! We absolutely loved working with Sandra! She is a very talented photographer and made us feel so comfortable, calming our nerves and getting our fun sides to come out in the photos.
