Mark's NOFRILLS Cochrane

You need to check your produce better. Few carrots out of 5lb bag already gone bad.

I'm giving this no frills a one star because the experience is better at Walmart - easier to find a cart, no need for a loonie , and the carts aren't hard to pull apart (I struggled the last time I was there while I was holding my toddler, I eventually gave up and left for another grocery store). I'm generally a big fan of No Frills... But not this one, sorry :(

I love No Frills - noticeable price difference in total cart - individual items mostly less compared to other chain grocery stores.Cochrane tends to be the last stop (or close to it anyway) and that can be reflective in stock levels, and certainly on popular sale items. Get to the store when the prices launch on those sale items if you want to buy.Multiple times I've purchased regular items and the POS system is different than the shelf ID card (lower at the shelf - higher at the register). Some of the staff know how to manage this (override, mgr, etc) - some do not. Young staff working hard, and when things are smooth - no issues. As soon as there's an issue, well - there's an issue.Very pleasant staff ... not always well informed (young/new) - would recommend keeping an eye on your receipts and have a little extra patience at Mark's No Frills

Typically shop here when there are good deals.July 6, dropped a star as this was the second visit in a week where there was expired products on the shelf. Was looking at the pancetta and was curious why it was grey/green, and when I checked the date, it was an week past its expiration date. Informed the staff about it.

Love it here mostly cus of the great prices and I have a lot of fun shopping with my mom :)

I'm back in Cochrane for a few months. This No Frills location always has plenty of parking. For the most part, snow is cleared, and parking spaces are clean and accessible. The store is well laid out and always kept neat. The staff is always available, pleasant, and helpful. I will visit again on a regular basis.

Good deals and the pc points program is great, store definetly has more of a warehouse type feel compared to the walmarts and save-ons of the area but they make up for it in great prices and deals

Best discount groceries in town. Store is pretty tidy but for some weird reason the entrance lobby stinks. Not a great first impression. But once inside it is OK.

I like this store and l love the prices . All the workers are very sweet , and l find all my needs there.
