Patricia is an outstanding spanish teacher. Always well prepared, she engages in conversations with both depth and flair.

I can't say enough good things about Patricia's classes. She has been my instructor for over 6 years.I like that she tailors the lessons to my interests and my language development needs. I am currently taking one-on-one lessons but know that she also teaches small group lessons.I have taken Spanish classes through other programs in the past. I like the fact that Patricia doesn't work from a textbook. She develops different exercises for me from week-to-week. She holds herself to a high standard and in turn, expects the best of her students. Highly recommended.

Fun & effective learning environment - love it!

I have been studying with Espahora for many years, and moved from beginner to advanced level and literature classes. I can compare the quality of this school to my experiences with other schools in the Toronto area (Board of Education and other private schools). The benefits of Espahora include: small class size (maximum 6 people in a class) allowing for maximum practice opportunities, a well-qualified Native Spanish -speaking teacher, who has formal pedogogical training (Masters of Education from Chile). Senora Faundez, the teacher/owner, makes the classes enjoyable and fun, through a good balance of grammar, culture, and vocabulary/conversation. There is an expectation to do homework and to come prepared, but like all language training you get out of it what you put into it. I have referred many friends, all of whom have been able to jump levels of Spanish quickly due to the intensity and focus of the classes.

Excellent environment for learning Spanish as an adult. Small classes, with tailored lesson plans ensure you’re always making progress. I have a lot of fun.
