Un gros zero comme service aux vétérans

VAC is by far the laziest government service in Canada. The going turnaround time to help an injured veteran is around 2 years. The arbitrators do everything in their power to deny claims, almost as if it was their money that they are jealous hoarding. They have several tables of disability, but will only ever use the one that gives the injured service member the lowest rating so that they can avoid paying out. When brought to their attention that there is another applicable table that applies, they will offer you the option to appeal( another 1 year process). They negotiate and arbitrate solely in bad faith and the service they provide is disgracefully slow and tedious. Unfortunately the department is populated by workers whose jobs are so secure that they can operate with a lack of care for veterans and their families and face no consequences. Its a shame that they are paid anything more than minimum wage for their minimum efforts.
