I liked my visit a lot. Very friendly people and staff around. Good music and food. Unfortunately the location is the basement with lots of stairs to surcome. Stairs up to the door. And then down to the basement are really hard if you are handicapped. That is where the 5th star went missing....

Friday nights 'Band' night - fun night. Good staff & service. Dble vax required. Usually room on dance floor. Lots of parking behind building.

I have to say this legion looked awesome. The downstairs had a nice small stage, pool tables and slot machines. The upstairs was a little dated, but hey it's a veteran's organization. The people were also very welcoming to their club.

Great place to go for functions, staff are great. The new canteen is a let down. The the change it hasn't been the same.

Went for a welsh potluck dinner and evening of entertainment. Didn't visit the common room so I can not say much about it, we were renting the dinning Hall upstairs. Although the decor looks a bit dated, the place was clean, well laid out, the kitchen was useful, but remember to bring your own trays and implements. The bar tender was nice and helpful and they have Fort Garry Dark. All in all, I'd rent it for an event, lots of good seating, easy access by bus, but limited on street parking, aot a dedicated parking lot.

Not the greatest place, but for its intent and purposes it's worth a 4 star rating. But in general as a bar I would give it 2 stars. Cozy but not very attractive. As a restaurant I would give it 2 stars. Ordinary menu all items are better elsewhere. Burger was god awful. Super soft almost mushy, NASTY. Burgers should have some bite to them. Seems it caters to the older generation, food-wise for obvious reasons.

This facility offers pool tables and both hard liquor and beer. The staff is incredibly nice and accommodating. There is a lot of history that comes with this building and is the go to place on remembrance day for Canadian Armed forces serving members and veterans. The beer and pool tables are good and are offered for the lowest prices in the city.
