All Africa Market

I wish I could rate 0 star. To avoid at all costs. I did make a purchase of more than $100 including 2 bags of smoked shrimp $9.99 each. While unpacking the box the next day, I noticed that just one bag has been packed. Called the store to let them know about it, and they were so arrogant and did consider me as a liar (why the hell should I attempt on stealing $9.99 after spending more than $100). No professionalism at all and no respect for customers. Moreover their prices are super expensive. Never ever I'll visit them again

Stop selling expired milk. Called in advance to ask. Wasted my time driving there only to see expired milk

The workers there have no customer service, respect, sense of time, or organization. I’ve been there many times already and I refuse to go back! They don’t know where their own items are, they service others before me if they get the chance and I’ll be in a hurry and they’ll still choose to count their nickels over letting me tap my card for one item. Additionally, two cashiers will be sharing a cash register and one will be at the other cash register being useless. This store has some decent items but their workers are the main reason that I will NEVER go back.

Nice and lit. Friendly staff. Relax shopping atmosphere. Free parking at the back. Prices can be more competitive, but products come from far, so it is understandable.

The customer service was superb. I was able to practice my french and got great advice about shedding the loads in my luggage via affordable local post when I exceeded all I planned to buy to take home to Halifax, Nova Scotia. I will definitely recommend as they have it all.

Today, I called this store and a woman picked up, she cut me off abruptly as I was speaking, she sounded annoyed and began talking to a customer telling them a price, then she hung up on me. I called again and they dropped the call, I called back again and was forwarded to a loud fax machine type of noise... I called right back because I'm looking for something specific and I really wanted to know if they sell it, I've only been to that store twice, years ago but I purchased a lot of things and both times they were courteous and helpful to me... so I was hoping it was just a misunderstanding, she then picked up said hello a few times as I was clearly speaking loud enough for her to hear, then hung up on me again. I'm disappointed and don't understand why a business would treat a potential customer that way.

Extremely bad customer service. I will never go there. I made a call to ask for the price of an item and they refused to tell me. Then they hanged up on my immediately. I decided to go still and of course these people are very disrespectful. Guys go to other store you will have a better service for the same or lower prices.

TERRIBLE customer service, they refuse to give prices over the phone and they are very rude, i spoke with someone named fanta,, (which may not even be her name because she was so rude). i will never shop here again and i will make sure everyone i know does not shop here as well. i hope this store goes out of business. i would give 0 stars if i could. DO NOT SHOP HERE. RUDE, DIRTY AND BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE.

They are friendly staff and have the best variety of African food in one place. Their staff will often help me with my girlfriend for groceries with putting them in the car. And even tho this place is 23 min away from my house, it is Worth the drive. Recommended for any African as you can get food from your country.

I used Uber eats to buy from this store. Not only is their catalogue on Uber eats missing MANY items but they couldn’t even be bothered to help the shopper. He was very confused about what some of the items were being someone who is not African or Caribbean. They gave him such a hard time he ended up calling me to help him find things. Can you do your job people! They gave him INCORRECT products and even over charged me for many of them. I paid such high prices for very few things that I even questioned my bill! Uber was kind enough to give me Uber eats credits for my troubles. Dear All Africa market: Don’t take Uber eats as a chance to cheat and overcharge clients. I may have bought from you once but I won’t be recommending you to anyone or buying again. There are so many African stores in Ottawa that are great alternatives. You win in the short run by taking my money but you lose long term by doing bad business. Do better.
