Dr. Leigh Bishop

I normally never write reviews, but I had an extremely uncomfortable experience getting something removed from my body. It was a private area and I felt very violated, I wasn’t told what was happening, and nothing was explained to me. I wasn’t even asked if I had any questions after the procedure! As a health care professional myself, I was very upset to see that due to short staffing, patients treatment is compromised. Patients are treated like an Assembly line…as far as I know there is no after hours phone number in case I had any other questions/ and or emergency. I am extremely disappointed in the health care system. Things need to change, patients need to advocate for themselves, it’s very uncomfortable when a person doesn’t even tell you what is going on, it takes 2 seconds to help relieve patients anxieties. Very traumatic experience…and I am normally not a nervous person…also waited 2 hours for my appointment stuck in the hospital room. I felt very uncomfortable not knowing when someone was coming into the room or not, I actually had to ask someone to close the door, talk about privacy lacking as well! Will not be going back to him.

Dr.Bishop has always been very professional and helpful. Have visted on many occasions over the past 4 years and he has always answered all of my questions and been very helpful. Highly recommend!
